I'm adding some models to Herculo's Huge Bouncing Breasts for this month's CCC. There are leather, mail, and plate variations of the cloth model so I'm copying the cloth model and renaming them to the appropriate leather, mail, or plate model. So far, so good.


 


What I'd like to do is to reduce the "jiggle" factor of the breasts to a lesser amount on the leather & mail models, and even less or none at all on the plate models.


 


I presume this to be in the "danglymesh node". Would that be the "displacement amount"? If so, then what about the "# Fake period, tightness and displacement parameters"? Or is is something else altogether?


 


Is is even possible to make these changes in Notepad?

If the quality of jiggle is the way you want it, but the distance jiggled is too far, I'd suggest not changing those three numbers, and instead focus on the per-vertex weights, which scale the overall usage of those three numbers.

Tightness makes it less jiggly overall, so you can simply increase that for your purpose. Tightness and the individual constraint values does the same (as far as I can tell), multiplying each other. This means that you actually want a higher constraint value the closer the vertex is to the centre.


 


Period seems to determine how quickly the displacement happens (moves).


 


Displacement determines how far the displacement is.


 


Slightly varying values on the same model can make wind seem less uniform. Mind you, not even Bioware have really done much tuning of these values themselves, so leaving them to default is usually good enough.
