wasnt there suppose to be a nwmax tool bar on my left?

so i copied the nwmax scripts and the autonwmax into the right folders(3ds max 2013/scripts/), for autonwmax(3ds max 2013/scripts/startup)

 

then i opened 3ds max, clicked the run script below the MAXScript bar and opened nwmax.ms from there, but nothing seems to happen

The files need to be copied into the Install directory, most commonly C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3DSMax[version]\Scripts\.  They will not work from the My Documents directory.

 

Once starting 3DSMax, NWMax will load and start automatically.  You do not need to run any script for that to happen.

 

Depending on the version of Windows you are using, you may or may not need to change permissions for a couple of directories for certain things to work correctly.

Posting more then one thread for every question you have on the same subject is not proper forum etiquette. You won't be noticed any less by continuing in your previous thread nor by posting in the properly dedicated NWMax/Gmax thread.

That may be the problem.  If I remember correctly, the original version of NWMax doesn't work with some of the newer versions of 3DSMax.

Unzip the downloaded file.  Copy the unzipped files to your 3DSMax Install directory.  Start 3DSMax.  As I said earlier NWMax Plus should autostart.
