Yes fallere,  this is the original. It'll be a few days. I'm still discussing with my family who wants to host it among us, which bugs we want to fix, and whether to we can work the subraces back into it. All the classes, all hundred or so, still work fine.

               Hey Icywinds, so natfka server is a large mod with thousands of maps with main "runs" ranging from mountain giants to wolf spiders, ice plane to deep underdark purple worms, fireguard keep to dragonmere coast (a starting run of about 6 maps). The world all intertwines mostly from to areas, GDI and Suzail. The starting classes are normal, but after level 1, the player has a hundred or so classes to choose from with nearly limitless build possibilities, Sorcerer, Red dragon disciple, archmage for example. Levels range from 1-40.


I'v made most gear purchasable, besides epic gear. Mule is still disabled, so no dropping at this time for newer characters made. However, gold is droppable as normal. Item level is restriction is on, as well.


You can party up for bigger runs like the widow and balor (epic runs) with epic loot +6 and better gear. The only way to find those.

That sounds very interesting. Are there any quests, or is it a pure grind? What are your rest restrictions, if any? Does it use CEP? Are there any spell changes or disabled feats? Do you have an ETA on when it will be ready?

ok, we'r releasing it next saturday, valentine's day. I will post all necessary HAK and TLK files to play this week, as well as how to install nwn for windows 7 etc. with bugs... feel free to email me with any questions. I will also give the direct connect info at that time as well.

yes, lots of spell changes made by the creator, not me. there are no quests. When this server was up years ago, lots of people quested together on "runs" on particularly difficult places, such as Mountain giants, widow, etc. I would like to set something up so someone can post that they'r free to make a run at a certain time and to join them if free. 

 

rest restrictions require you to be in most towns or at a campsite at tyrluk before entering the storm horns, and a few others.

Dropbox was unable to upload all of my HAK files. So, if you are unable to find the necessary HAK files necessary from the server vault or Google, I will create something for you to download the files from.

I'm able to log in, just waiting for the custom haks to be distributed again (old vault ones have been wiped, if you can find a alternate link lmk plz). Hope to meet you there soon.

 

P.S. Looks like the first class must be a vanilla NWN one, and need to be level 2+ to select PRC stuff? Any info about availabe subraces would be welcome too (tbh, I hope OP ones like rakshasa&Co aren't availabe).

               Hey guys, I've seen a few people on. Glad to see everybody is getting on ok.


I recommend HIGHLY that u start with killing zombies with a crossbow, the Warriors and pirates are slow and easy to pick off. This is a hard core mod, just like the old days. It was ranked #1 in 2006 I believe. Party up with ppl and ask questions here or on the server.

Harpies are the next natural progression after zombies, but You'll need immunity to mind spells or be in a group.

The goblin areas out of gdi western forest are also revamped. Go here from levels 4-10. The xp comes quick.


If I am on playing or as DM, shoot me a shout and I will raise you, as will others as people progress into the mid and high levels. Everyone is friendly.

               Hey guys update on gog.com. You need to email customer support for your custom cd key for it to work. It's on their page : http://www.gog.com/s..._nights_diamond


And I will be working on sub races the next couple weeks. It will be slow work probably. All my subrace files don't work in their current format.
