The Moonsea PW - Now in BETA.

Our files are looking good, so that's not the problem.

I've just created two new characters without problems.

Looking at the server vault, I noticed that you had no characters at all in there.

Are you using third-party programs that might interfere?

Is your override folder empty now?

I can only assume that the Enforce Legal Characters kicks in for some reason.

We've never encountered such an issue before, and frankly don't know what to do. Sorry. '<img'>

No problem. Override is empty, and I have deleted all previous attempts except for the latest one which, seemingly, disappeared on it's own somehow. I tried NWNCX once, with the same result. We can also discuss this on your forum. thanks for the effort.

I thought it might interest you guys about how things are going building-wise.

Right now we have 114 complete areas which spans around most of the Moonsea. It's not much, I know, but I'm building at a good pace and The Z is also building areas when he's not occupied with scripting.

Lately, I've been doing the southern part of the Dragonspine Mountains, along with interiors. These are cold level three areas, so be sure to bring a large tent if you plan to sleep outside in the cold.

I've also been doing the Tesh Trail, the western-most part of the module. From there you can travel across River Tesh and access the north-western corner of the module. These areas will be connecting with Ruins of Zhentil Keep, an expansion we are planning. Other expansions we are going to add is Citadel of the Raven, the Great Grey Land of Thar and Sorcerer's Isle.

More news will come soon.

The areas are pretty nice. I've liked what I've seen so far. This module has a ton of potential. It's just too bad that NWN player base has dwindled so much. My wife and I have returned to NWN after a 3 or 4 yr. hiatus. I am pleased to be back. The nostalgia was getting to me lol...If anyone else is interested in the old school heavy rp but with plenty of exploration mixed in I feel after some more work this place will be top notch.

Thanks, friend. '<img'> Six more areas built around River Tesh. Meanwhile, the Archmage, a custom prestige class, is in final testing. Cool features like Mastery of Elements lets' you choose what elemental damage your, say, Fireball will do. Cold, perhaps? Or why not sonic? Then there's Mastery of Shaping - shape your AoE spells to avoid party members taking damage. Available at level 19 for Sorcerers and Wizards.

Happy gaming!

So, I've been doing some more areas. We're now at 130 areas, adding more each day. The Archmage prestige class is ready for launch, just have to upload the files.

We have a few regulars, but we would love to see more RP'ers join in on the Moonsea and explore the cold, harsh but rich land.

Dare and beware!

The Archmage custom prestige class has been released!

The Ruins of Zhentil Keep is in the process of being built. It's a lot of fun building it, with the boxed set as a guide. This update is quite comprehensive and will take a little while more to complete, but I thought I'd let you know.

We're now at 139 areas and counting.

Happy gaming!

Hello all! I've got some good news - the Ruins of Zhentil Keep are now live! 13 new areas to explore, and more are coming. '<img'>

To be able to join, you need CEP2.4 and our custom haks which you can find here.

Hail, adventurers! Just so you know what you're missing out on:

PnP story setting true to Realms lore around 1370 DR.

Immersive world with tons of exploration available, and more is coming all the time ( we're really dedicated here '<img'> )

Harsh weather and even harder encounters.

A living world where every NPC has some rumor or tidbit of news to say.

Pray to your Deity and actually get rewarded for doing so, regardless of Class. ( the gods need YOU, right? )

Exciting quests with nice rewards.

Low magic level combined with a level cap of 30, makes for tough, exciting encounters.

The list could go on and on. Come see for yourselves, brothers and sisters. The Moonsea lives up to its reputation- harsh, cold, unforgiving and rich of treasure - for those who dare.

Like we say in the Moonsea region: "Dare and beware!"

Hi all. Just want to say the server looks like it's going to be really good. I've played a few of Snottlings servers before and they were very good. Just looking for something new and a new server. Looks like this place is my new home. Just wondering: Do you guys need an extra builder? I have a guide that teaches scripting and how to use the toolset and I have plenty of time so if you need an extra helper I'd be happy to contribute. I was thinking about making a Phlan and Moonsea server but I don't know if I have the patience to put all my ideas into a project. Maybe you'll like some of my ideas? Anyway bye for now and hope to see more people in game...

Hi Evermoor! Sure, it would be fun to hear your ideas. As far as building and scripting goes, we have that covered, but thanks for the offer. '<img'>

Just as Evermoore said, we'd like to see more players. Take a chance and join. Chances are you might like it!

We now have scaling arcane spell damage. Divine is to come at some point. Due to bolstered hit points of monsters, we have noticed that mages were underpowered. So, now level 1 spellcasters have a 110% damage bonus, while level 30 spellcasters have a bonus of 725%.

Apart from that, we are now at 160 areas and we have several regular players.

We are also starting a scheduled party play this weekend.

Check us out!

Here's what's new this week: 10 new explorable areas and Druids have gotten more shapes to choose from, including birds with a "fly away" widget (works like a Dimension Door spell).

We are having party play, Sunday around 7pm EST US.

Come join, tell your story and explore with us!

We have new hardware and a 250Mb/s connection, thus we also have a new IP address:

   213.113.57.118:5121

If you like to explore and RP, you will like it on the Moonsea!

I am very interested in trying NWN again because of this server. Is it still running?
