I have been playing on this server for about two months and really recommend it. The setting is great, the areas are fantastic, and the custom content is quite good with more coming. The playerbase is also friendly and courteous, maintaining a skype group chat that welcomes new members providing help when needed or just friendly chat. It is a true community.

 

Advancement is also generous, allowing you to progress through hunting or general roleplaying. You start at 7 and can progress to 20 through hunting XP, DM plots or from the auto-fairy script. Hunting is limited to a max of 50 per kill. This system allows you to become as potent as you like and experience a wide range of content. Epic levels are allowed but are gated, requiring you to spend time on the server. This allows you to establish your character as part of the community and build up some goals to work towards, either pre or post-epic to drive your character forward. The DMs are more than willing to help you with this.

I have been playing on this server since January 2013. I've played on several other servers from time to time, off and on, but I have always stayed true to this community. That's what it is. A community. I am also a Dungeon Master(DM) here. On some servers you might talk to a few people in game and catch a DM online, but there ends the availability of staff and other fellow players. This is not so in Sigil: Planar Legends. If you have questions, comments or ideas there is typically one or more DMs lingering in our Skype chatroom and are happy to help you. Some of us can be a bit unorthodox, but we know when to joke around and when to act professional. The staff here are real people, and talk to you like real people. They don't jerk you around and blow smoke up your a**. Likewise we expect others to treat others with respect. We don't mind a little trash-talk, just know when to stop and don't take it too far.
