Dragonlance - Guardians of the Lance RP Server

               Hello everyone! For some time ive been working on a Dragonlance based PW and am ready to share what ive got so far with the rest of you, and ask for some additional help as well. Most of the work so far has been done by myself, but ive had some help from time to time and a few people we kind enough to make some areas for me. As stated above the server is based on the Dragonlance series of books concerning the War of the Lance, however I have no intentions of following the books' with reguards to the outcome of the war. My idea (once we get that far) is to have the players run the storyline and determine which course the war will take. Currently I am the only one scripting and building on the server, and additional help with building and creating quests would be greatly appreciated. Below is a list of some of the features that we currently offer:

First and foremost we have a Capturable Keep System that allows Major
factions to attack another faction keep and claim it as their own, thus
changing the npc spawns and granting the attacking faction a reward for
doing so. There is also a Guild System set up to allow players to invite others to  their
respective guilds and manage their ranks in game, instead of via the
forums. It also allows for gold storage, messaging, alliances and a few
other things. There is a Persistent Save Location script that will save a
players location periodically and when resting that stores even through
server resets. All Guild Gear here is the same stat point wise, there
are none that are better then others, merely a RP choice for the player.


Faction npcs will follow faction members that are above level
35 (up to 4) and will fight with them unless commanded otherwise, also
Guild Leaders will have a Dragonmount as well as a reinforcement horn to
use for aid, generals will only posses the horn. A few spells have been
changed, such as Gate and Elemental Swarm, which now summon a monster
based on the caster level of the summoner. Most Dungeons posses a boss
that respawns every 4 hours, and drops unique gear as well as an
assortment of other useful gear. These bosses are usually difficult and
require at least 2 or 3 people to defeat.

There is a Subrace
system in place that offers unique subraces that fit the Dragonlance
theme, as well as a few other interesting ones such as a Centuar, Wolf,
Vampire and Lich. There is also a language widget system in place to
allow players to converse in different languages for some rp flavor. A
portal system that opens a gateway to the last town an adventurer saved
too, as well as a port to leader rod. There are Legendary Items that
have a rare chance at dropping, as well as a very rare 'Soulbound'
weapon that increases in strength the more it is used in combat.

The
level cap here is 60, but to get to the npc that grants you these
powers you must venture through a hidden and intensely hard dungeon and
slay the boss within, by far the hardest dungeon within the game,
requiring at least 3 to 5 people.

               The Direct Connect for my server is no longer valid, as ive moved the host computer, its under roleplay. Dragonlance Beta server name, Guardians of the Lance mod name. If anyone is interested in building just shoot me a message or reply here, thanks guys an have a good one
