You are cordially invited to visit and review our PW - it is stable (crashes on average about once a year), largely lag free and yet provides plenty of places to explore (over 1337 areas atm and counting). This is a RP-ENHANCED world, meaning if you RP, you will find it much more rewarding - PCs earn XP by RP (text in various channels and emotes), exploring new areas, doing 'class specific things' (such as mages collecting tomes) and other RP releated means.

We do use the CEP (the only hak we use) version 2.1 so 2.2, 2.3 and 2.4 are all compatable - you can log in if you have any of the listed CEPs. We also feature mounts (riding), climbing, jumping, swimming, flying, and even swinging from vines/ropes. Be sure to run through our tutorial area (aka Noob U.) where you can optionally get up to three free levels and some free gear.

BE SURE TO ASK ABOUT THE IMMERSION TOOLS - these are unique and utterly amazing RP enhancing tools.

If you'd like a tour of the tutorial, just ask - we'll setup a time/date that works for us both (I'm pretty flexible).

Hope to see you online

Be well. Game on.

Try Thay if you get the chance. It's a mid-magic heavy RP world. And no haks needed.

Good luck in your search.

Being Thay is a land ruled by a society of racist, bald, evil wizards, many players choose to play human PCs of an evil alignment. Good-aligned and non-human PCs have a little tougher time. I'd also recommend probably not rolling up an aspiring Red Wizard PC as your first PC. A fighter or cleric-type PC that can heal itself will probably be a better way to get used to the PW first, and then once you know some of the nuances it might be easier to try out one of the classes that might require a little more finesse.

ehye_khandee (may I call you i_can_d? lol) - looks interesting. Is there any toon type that is more or less suitable for your PW? I hope to visit this weekend.

You can call me anything except late for dinner. '<img'>

Thank you btw, we like to think our server is pretty cool too (after ten years of building there is that hope). '<img'>  The only class I would recommend you NOT use for your first PC there is the cleric - as we use unique deities with special Domain requirements - so avoid cleric for your first PC.  What would I recommend? Well, I'm a big fan of a few and I'll share the why's and wherefores with you here.

RANGERS are great fun here, they can track, scavenge for things others would miss, animals are a great boon to the ranger as they will even bring messages to a ranger at times - rangers can make a fireless campsite that other PCs can use (fire can give away your location), and get bonuses on fishing and hunting. Rangers here can also find/use hidden trails and even allow their party mates to use them too in the rangers' presence.

ROGUES great fun also, NOT exclusive to rogues but a definite interest to some are the GRIFTING (persuade based) and EXTORTION (intimidate based) actions - these allow the PC to possibly gain either money or rumors from the target. Rogues can also use windows (open/close/lock/unlock/break/peek/enter), loot rooms of valuables others would miss (such as paintings, carpets and even the good silver).

All classes can climb trees, hide in objects of sufficient size, jump, climb, swim, swing, and even fly if they have wings or magic suitable to the task. Note Rogues can climb without a rope anywhere a rope could be used.

Arcane classes are fun too, as you can detect magic and even research new spells we've added over 70 so far, from Wish to Blink, from Wall of Ice to Liveoak, there is a lot to see here.

Hope to see you online. If you'd like a tour through the tutorial area, please do message me and I will do my best to arrange a meeting time convenient for us both.

Best wishes on your server quest!

Be well. Game on!

Thayan - I have previosuly played on PW set in Cormyr, Moonsea and Narfell, but Thay will be a new challenge. I am uo for it tho 'Image Same question as to ehye_khandee, any type of toon that would be better to play?

Thay has a number of nice systems.  Of all of the numerous NWN PW's I've logged onto in the last decade-ish, it's the most impressive in that regard.

I'd agree that fighter types are good early (like they are with most PW's).  Thay is full of temples, as well, giving cleric types plenty of options, since most (if not all) of the temples are playable joinable.  I've mostly played clerics (which is strange, since I never played clerics prior to Thay).  My fighter does fine.  I had success with a ranger.  It's largely a matter of playstyle and knowing your environment.

The Thay setting is great anyway.
