CANT host on Windows 7 Machine

                heya everyone!

Been everywhere over google to find a answer on what my problem could be and tried loads of diffrent methods.
Issue is everytime i try to host i get my local IP instead of the internet ip on the NWServer.exe

I tried the most common way Portforwarding

5120 - 5300
6500
6667
27900
28900

This proved to do nothign so i procceded to change all firwall settings to allow all content from NWN folder to be allowed and even added the ports in the firewall settings. When that didnt work i tried to close down everything just to see if the firewall was the issue. Still no result.

I am clueless what to do now since no method i tried seems to work and there dosent seem to be any other solutions at all. I hope someone out there knows an answer that will amke it plausible to host the server onto the internet and not only localy.

               Your local IP will always show up on the server screen, That is correct.   It is also your Local IP that you need to set your router up to forward to.    

However you can not always see your own server on gamespy from behing your router,  It is best if you find someone who is not on the same network as you are to see if they can see the server on game spy or not.

                Hi , I´m having a similar problem , i can´t host any module on gamespy , i´ve tried port forwarding too but nothing , i still keep getting that message in a txt log when i run nwnserver :

"GameSpy Server Error: Unable to query the server. You may need to open port 5121 for incoming traffic.[Sun Jan 22 22:02:43] Loading Module: bardo"

It´s terrible because I finally got my friends to play nwn next weekend! Thanks in advance
