               Cool world. I played for a while. Here's a few observations I've made from playing.

You should mention in your description that this is a pretty low magic world (at least to start). I had to get to level 5 just to use boots of striding +1.

The death penalty for xp is pretty light here too. 10 xp/level which is pretty easy to get back, but when you respawn it seems to take double the gold than it should, because it takes it twice. Maybe that's a glitch in the code?

Also not every shop buys things. In fact, only one shop does, which is kind of neat since you can see what others have sold. But the downside is that it is all deleted when the server resets.

And lastly, the place could use a few more quests. I really only found one or two from shop keepers and I'm not really sure if I've actually acquired them, because they don't show up in my journal.

Thanks, Most of Ansalon was done by Player Requests (Back when it was full day-in day-out)
It was decided to have Item Level Restrictions, Since NWN1 itself decided the level which an item is based on it attributes that is the reason for this.

The death penalty was as stated by the veteran players of the time. Most wanted a very small penalty (some wanted none!) Same with the being able to immediatly portal back to death point. I will have to check with the gold loss, it is supposed to be 10% of the gold you are carrying on your person at the time of death so it varies. (Gold in the Ansalon Bank is not counted.)

This was mainly instituted due to the fact people would complain about all the junk they had to shift through becuase people would see bear hides to the armour shop etc. So now you can view only the type of gear you are selling at the type of shop you are at. Plus you have a shop that isn't static. When you have a few humdred players on between resets it would not be wise to keep everything in the 'Pawn Shop'

Quests were a big thing for the general population (who made most the decisions) there are 2 I think in the starting area of solace (One from Jenny to get her chalice and one from Mad Monk to get cave goblin ears) there are more quests but at higher level.

               I wasn't actually complaining about the respawn penalty. I like not losing a ton of xp. The gold thing was kind of annoying but that is what banks are for. I think it'll probably take a while to get to higher levels since there aren't many people on these days, so if possible you might want to add more starter quests.

Well, most didn't really care quest's, they quest that are there are repeatable. I mistyped that above. Most were just interested in exploring and killing stuff. As to not having many people on, you can help solve that! '>

A tester did find the gold was doubling, will get to that soon,,

               So I'm really liking the world but there's another glitch - I keep getting "cannot transition while fighting" when some goblin archers - who are behind barracks, and I cannot reach at all - keep shooting at me. I am completely out of spells and I have no way of killing them or going back in the cave to get to the next area. So I'm completely stuck in this one area now.

               There have been some other problems. Like the Spawn System is spawning everything in the area regardless of party size or level. Please stated name of the area you are talking about (or I will catch you online if I'm awake '>)

               It's the exit to that cave all those goblins spawned in (if that helps lol). My buffs eventually wore off and they were eventually able to ping me to death and I was able to respawn.
