Inviting You All to the Avlis Trade Faire
« on: August 27, 2010, 09:09:50 pm »

About once every three months, the mercantile guild on Avlis hosts the Fabulous Ferrell Trade Faire, an opportunity to gather nearly all the PC factions in the world at a neutral location to trade gear, gold, secrets, and dirty looks. The next one starts at 00:00 GMT on our Ferrell server, and will run all weekend. Live auctions are held on Sunday starting around midmorning for most US players.

If you've ever been curious about Avlis, this is a great time to roll up a new PC on the Ferrell server and roleplay your way into some nice equipment, not to mention meeting dozens of PCs! Many characters sell or trade on the promise of mining or ingredient collection, so even a broke 1st level fighter can come away surprisingly well. Creative roleplay pays off!

You can Direct Connect to the Ferrell server at world.avlis.org:5126. You will need to download a series of haks to join - find them at our wiki: http://wiki.avlis.org/Needed_files .

We hope to see you there!

The Trade Fair is awesome. Last time we had the server loaded with like 62 people on it and the lag wasn't even that bad. Great times, good trades, and love getting to see that many people RPing all at once. I have more fun socializing than trading
