Module is being updated almost daily now, and is constantly up.  There is almost ALWAYS at least one or more DMs online to meet you survival horror needs, 24/7.

Also, we've just recently added another Staff member (Another EXCELLENT Builder/DM/Scripter), so you can expect to see new unique areas, scripting, and events to enjoy.

If you like zombies and survival horror; if you like sitting by the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next; if you just cant get enough of that gorey post-apocalyptic terror, THIS SERVER IS FOR YOU!

Come on over, and happy hunting!

More updates incoming.  Persistent Storage, personal persistent writable material all able to be passed along as items, even circulate your own post-apocalypse news journal, all IG!  Updates to Zombie AI to make them behave a little more realistically, and realistic items like Frag grenades that feel and act like a -real- frag grenade.

Lots of more areas in this update as well, including some plot oriented areas and a plot survival outpost in the woods, which will be attempted to be overtaken via a DM run event this Saturday!

Come getcha some of the action, and enjoy the horrific scenery!

I was banned from the server for speaking out on the forums. To simply be told I cannot do that because they 'own' the server and apparently my right to freedom of speech.

On the server is nothing but overpowered DM events which aim to kill you. Any chance you take to push the boundarys will be quashed. Take it from me an ex-player and an ex-DM this is not the server for you.

I think your maybe taking it a little to serious.Alot of work goes into makeing mods and sometimes players do die in dm events.I also see players constantly asking for dm events in my server Day 2078 which is not online at the moment. The point is i wouldnt jump the gun on servers to fast i really think everyone out there is aiming to please but sometimes things happen which are unforunate.

I dont see any reason in banning anyone ever....kicking them from the game is undestandable because players sometimes need time to cool off.But overall banning to me leaves a bad taste in my mouth because on my very first sever i got banned but was new to nwn and was banned for 3 years lol.I guess thats why i think that way.

Hopefully you guys could settle things otherwise you might be the one with a bad taste in your mouth and no one wants that.lol i should be a writer.

Correction.  You were -temporarily- banned from the forums because you continuously reposted a thread, when it was moved to be discussed by the Staff of the server.

You really can't ever expect me to tolerate that crap.  It's disrespectful.

However, at any rate...

There have been more updates lately, and more system being added in.  LOTS of changes going in, things being worked out and fixed, and new and interesting system in the works, like the crafting refinery stations.

Did you even explain to him what was going on? If not then it is on you, you should keep players informed on what you are doing with such things, especially if they obviously want something done, it is disrespectful to make it look like it disappears into oblivion without a word, it seems more like you were trying to just make sure no one else read his complaints,  but then you ban people for less, such as telling the staff that you, the guru, herald of the server, original creator, and what ever else they think you are, to get your help for a simple fix I had fixed prior. Granted I was being a jerk but you were also taking full credit for the work of others, including myself and a few friends of mine, you were very disrespectful to someone who offered to help the server by saying they could work under you, when many of the scripts were taken from Zunaths mod ROTD, and, to top it off, you insulted people on the dm forums for applying to dm, such as myself and the former admin of the server before it was given to Sunshine, should we also discuss the dms that used to group up and talk about what players to kill because they didn't like them? (I saw this when I was still a DM, and some of the dms involved are still around) And then proceeding to do it, systematically trying to kill them, because the staff didn't like them, honestly, I tried the server again, and I still couldn't get into it, the dm events I were in were lacking, the uber npcs ridiculous, and in general I felt very little survival feel on the server.

Wooooow really? Please, let me call the Wahm-bulance for ya dude. Seriously? Look man, I have never taken any credit that wasn't due to me. Zunath has always been welcome into our community, and heralded as the original creator of MZS. Zunath -willfully- provided the community with many of the scripts that the community still uses today. Not only that, but a LOT of ideas were built from original creators such as Ronin_DM, Windwar, Skipper Warlock and MANY others that I am sure I am not mentioning (But ARE mentioned in the credits of the module).

And you? Whatever -fix- you thought you had with MZS, it was obviously not a fix for your crappy attitude. It was a unanimous decision when the MZS2 team originally converged in early 2007 to remove you from the team, not because your ideas clashed horrifically with everyone elses, but because you were a giant dick to everybody. Can I personally help that you're a dick? Well not really. But being a dick has consequences, and guess what? One of those consequences is... well... nobody wants you around dude.

And BY the way, you were never insulted. You were given a thoughtful, and considerate observation of how you acted and presented yourself previously. This was backed up by Zunath himself as well - And -really-, why do you keep bringing up Zunath anyway? You honestly hate to speak for him, but you do realize how much the guy really does despise you tossing his name about, do you not? Zunath and I are good friends, and he continues to occasionally drop in and offer his assistance on things, and he knows that he is ALWAYS welcome with open arms in the community. He has full access to all staff member forums, and his title on the forums is "MZS Creator" for Christ's sake.

Now it's one thing, to offer a completely unbiased opinion to the server, saying how you might think the server a bit unrealistic, or a bit overpowered, or a bit this, or that. But we are getting complete -dicks- in here giving assessments, and it honestly just skews the entire point of a thread like this.

Now, I admit myself that I have had a stern view, but we have always given EVERYONE a fair chance, assessment and/or consideration. Anything after that point the people themselves have shown their true colors on, and pretty well made asses of themselves. And apparently, we have made preeeeeeetty good judgement calls to my mind, because here we are again, dealing with the same dicks again.   Disrespecting you?  HELL YEAH I'm gonna disrespect you.  You're a dick, you've ALWAYS been a dick, from what I see, you're always GOING to be a dick.  Respect?  Practice what you preach dude.

Random thought:  Why do we always get the ban trolls?  Do you people have no ****ing life?  Move on.

I don't care about credit, I care about people being able to have a good time. I have nothing to prove here - all I am attempting to do is advertise the server. You wish to slam it, because you were a dick to the staff and players, and get the **** end of the stick? Cool.

But guess what? In the end, I don't care about the dick's point of view on the server. I care about the people who -truly- enjoy themselves when playing, or have real concerns to better the community as a whole.

I hold to the opinion that there's a certain breed of **** that lights themselves on fire, and tossing more gasoline on them isn't going to kill them anytime soon, because they're apparently very adept with flames- an innate immunity, if you will, due to their affinity for throwing around fireballs. Or, perhaps more eloquently, fecal matter. Some might argue it's still possible for a gem of truth to be found in such arguments, but honestly, lobbing a ball of **** at somebody isn't going to be any more meaningful even if there is a diamond within that crust of obscenity.

Perhaps we can avoid further defacing this thread, and this board, and instead focus on the subject of MZS2: Outbreak.

To that end, yes, the server is receiving a considerable content update, both in the last short while, and continuing into the future. There's plans in place, and work beginning, for an additional of new areas and new major systems.

And the entire points of what I said about the server were ignored for a focus on me? Considering I was on it just last week I find this funny, I was giving my view of things, instead you make a post twice as long focusing on me and how horrible of a person I am. And just for note I said Zunaths name twice to note where things were from and who worked them when you said you made things. And the old staff, and playerbase liked me just fine, when Feral was in charge, you know when the server regularly got above five players, my events were considered to be the more realistic, avoiding uber npcs and illogical situations.

Did you answer anything I put forth?

No you went on a long rant about how I am bad, not anything about your server, it pretty much speaks for itself that it won't stand up to criticism if you go wild at that little bit of critique.

But since the original meaning of my post was lost here it is again.

The staff needs work, events were not very fun and see the npc issue.

The npcs are a joke and overpowered beyond reason.

Some of the current staff participated in the planned killing of players they didn't like.

Personally I felt no survival from the mod it just wasn't there, the atmosphere is all wrong.

The staff was a bit more courteous but then I never really saw more then Rossco and Hazard.

And I did 'truely enjoy' this server when Feral was in charge, now? well now I can't even enjoy getting into the setting and the world.

Sometimes people don't get everything they want and cause disruptions.  Being a builder/DM/module architect I can vouch for how frustrating it can be to deal with disruptions.

People don't get paid for these servers, or to moderate forums.  Modules are the property of the owners and builders.  Forums are as well.

Some folks deserve banning, some outright ask for it.

No forum should be abused by disgruntled players.

My suggestion is that if you aren't happy with a certain server, find another one, or build your own.

I've not seen this module but I plan on popping in to check it out.

Thank you to the staff for helping to keep NWN alive...  or...  undead..

Just to clarify: I don't care about credits or anything like that. If I can help out, that's good enough for me.

I would, however, appreciate being left out of these sorts of discussions though. '<img'>

First of all, thank you Zunath, Butcher, and Rossco for the input.  It's much appreciated.

Rasma, go away. You're clearly not wanted here, nor around the server. Do us, and yourself a favor and just disappear. It's one thing to have concerns, and another to pop into a thread we advertise to bring in new players and consistently slam the community (Which you have sadly, always done.  I am concerned that you need a hobby other than this.  It ain't healthy ya know.)  You were removed from the outbreak forums for a purpose, and that is because we received a lot of complaints about your negativity - and it was a unanimous decision to remove you - We got tired of it, so I apologize, but this isn't just my feeling here. Its the ENTIRE staff. When you ****** the ENTIRE staff off, we aren't exactly obligated to keep you around anymore, if we don't feel like it. If you feel like your only venue is to come onto our Bioware thread, and purposefully post to detract the purpose of this thread - Then I guess that just shows how very childish you are. You can't always get your way.

As for Sparrow's temporary ban, that isn't exactly any of your business anyway. You aren't a staff member, and you aren't even ALLOWED on our forums. So as far as I'm concerned, it isn't of your concern. I don't feel the staff should need to explain itself to somebody who isn't even welcome in the community.

And with that, I bring you Jerank.

There has been a player recently going in and out of various NWN gaming servers, hacking, sending DoS/DDoS attacks, and crashing various servers, typically ones of our Neverwinter Nights genre (Including another server that I am apart of). This person is known publically as Jerank. Everyone should be well aware of his presence now, and the purpose of this post is to prevent his shenanigans from carrying on any longer.

If you have seen/heard/had problems from/been hacked/crashed/or ANY kind of Denial of Service attack (Which covers ANY kind of data transaction that crashes or disrupts service with a server which is all HIGHLY illegal) please e-mail the abuse these abuse e-mails included in the DNS lookups and /whois queries, and put this punk in his place. If possible, provide exact IP addresses associated.
