Autumnleaf, a persistent world was (semi) well known in the Neverwinter
Nights community five years ago. Due to server hosting difficulties,
unfortunately, the realm was shut down. Today I am excited to announce
that Autumnleaf has risen once again to hopefully attain the status it
once held within the community.
Autumnleaf has a rich background
set in a fictional area of the Forgotten Realms. We've found this much
easier as storytellers and builders to deal with instead of focusing
purely on what pioneers such as Ed Greenwood and RA Salvatore have
graciously created before us. This, however, does not mean that we
haven't 'borrowed' from many of the great fan fiction writers of the
Dungeons and Dragons universe.
The development team of Autumnleaf
feel that it is important for players to create their own stories, to
birth their own heros and villians, and to find their own destinies. If
you've ever played with an exceptional dungeon master, one trait you'll
undoubtedly find is that the players, not the dungeon master, make the
experience. This is what the development team of Autumnleaf strives to
achieve.
Autumnleaf is an open realm, looking for dedicated
players to come and join our story. It matters little if you're a
serious roleplayer, or an individual who likes to log in and flex your
hack n' slash skills. All we ask as a development team is that players
respect one another by treating others as they themselves wish to be
treated.
