Autumnleaf Persistent World
« on: July 15, 2010, 01:57:17 am »

Autumnleaf, a persistent world was (semi) well known in the Neverwinter
Nights community five years ago. Due to server hosting difficulties,
unfortunately, the realm was shut down. Today I am excited to announce
that Autumnleaf has risen once again to hopefully attain the status it
once held within the community.

Autumnleaf has a rich background
set in a fictional area of the Forgotten Realms. We've found this much
easier as storytellers and builders to deal with instead of focusing
purely on what pioneers such as Ed Greenwood and RA Salvatore have
graciously created before us. This, however, does not mean that we
haven't 'borrowed' from many of the great fan fiction writers of the
Dungeons and Dragons universe.

The development team of Autumnleaf
feel that it is important for players to create their own stories, to
birth their own heros and villians, and to find their own destinies. If
you've ever played with an exceptional dungeon master, one trait you'll
undoubtedly find is that the players, not the dungeon master, make the
experience. This is what the development team of Autumnleaf strives to
achieve.

Autumnleaf is an open realm, looking for dedicated
players to come and join our story. It matters little if you're a
serious roleplayer, or an individual who likes to log in and flex your
hack n' slash skills. All we ask as a development team is that players
respect one another by treating others as they themselves wish to be
treated.

A little of what Autumnleaf has to offer:

Custom
Tilesets
Custom Alignment System
Custom Experience Point System
Custom
Music
Custom Creatures/NPCs
Sub Race System (Aasimar, Tiefling,
Half-Ogre, and several others)
Guild System
Player Housing
Unique
Soul Gem System (Dealing with weapons, armor, and other items)
Flexible
PC Respawning Rules
PvP Arena Area

And much, much more.

We are still looking for players. A few things that sets us apart from other persistent worlds - we have strong DM interaction, we have several systems in place within the module which are unique, we run continuing player-driven storylines through out the week, both weekdays as well as weekends, and we also have players from several different places within the world - this means activity at just about any time of the day and/or night.

Come and check us out at www.autumnleafnwn.com - I can promise you that you will not be disappointed.

Was wanting everyone to know that we have just launched a new area. Nozgoth. Tucked high into the Spine of the World the Elves of Elderwild who were forced out of their homeland have joined forced with the Einherjar, a clan of dwarves inhabiting the area, to fight against the frost giants, and then take the fight back to the orcs who forced the elves from their homeland. Its a mid teens zone, and will be further expanded upon in the future.
I invite everyone to come and check us out at www.autumnleafnwn.com. I promise if you give us a chance, you're going to have a lot of fun with us.
