Lexicon 1.69 chm File now on New Vault
« on: April 13, 2015, 12:59:44 pm »

Just a heads up to let people know that I have uploaded the downloadable version of the Lexicon to the new vault. You can get it here. The on-line (and more up to date version) is still at here.

Just to make it clear, I have nothing to do with the content - I just got fed up of waiting for it to be uploaded.

It occurred to me that newer scripters may not be aware of what is in the Lexicon so here is a picture of the contents pane from it.

The Lexicon is SPOT ON GOOD STUFF. I constantly sim-thumb thru it as I tinker in the toolset. If you don't have it you should get it - either download the web site, or use it via Internet connection or (for those who run windows) a CHM file like this is both fast and pretty.

So, who made the CHM file?

IIRC the .chm file was released by the 1.69 Lexicon team (Mistress, KooKoo et al) back in 2009.

As Tarot Redhand implies, it's slightly out-of-date, so I recommend the web site. The .chm is only really useful when you have no internet connection.

I use the downloaded version all the time, Also there are CHM viewers for Linux, you don't have to only be on windows.  The website is nice but having it local is very convenient.

And the link to the website is on the download page twice. I put it under related projects when I made the project page. There is also a link in the comments. I personally find the chm fits my needs as I have a monthly download limit.
