DM Possessed creature and JumpToLocation
« on: May 04, 2012, 04:12:03 am »

I am wondering what prevents a DM Possessed creature from being jumped to a location by the JumpToLocation command. Is this an issue of not being commandable?

Can you give a code example? I for one know of nothing, unless you have a filter in the code to stop it. DM are moved that way all the time. Even area transistions often use that command.

Edited: For bad typing.

FYI - I've now gotten the seamless area transitions triggers to work for DM Possessed creatures, but they do not work for DM's. Apparently DMs do not interact with Triggers, which makes sense. I'll need to create a work around - possibly a widget - DM boots or the like.

You can have you DM interact with triggers. The dm has to outside click the trigger you see two event fire actions. Send Enter event and Send Exit event, this will fire the triggers enter/exit script on the DM. So the DM could use your seamless transition by outside clicking and selecting send enter event. They did this because they did not want dm set off triggers or being manipulated by scripts.

Thanks for the reminder on that. I don't know the DM client very well, and so forgot that that was an option.
