I have a problem with SetMaxHenchmen();
I set it to 3 henchmen, but it boots out one of the henchmen when I add the third henchman to the group.

Where are you calling the SetMaxHenchmen function? I would do a check with a later script (if you are adding the third henchman to the party via script, putting the check here would be ideal) that calls GetMaxHenchmen and reports that number back to the PC to ensure that the Set function was executed.
