Imported Crafter to mod now doesnt work?

               Ok I like the horse boutique / Craft clothing area in the cep starter mod.

In the starter mod you can craft yuor clothing and change color of it thru the conversation with the model.I exported area and then imported it into my mod.

Problem:  It wont let you craft cloak or dye clothing. ???':blink:'

               Did you also export the conversations, scripts, item res ref, etc...?

You need to make sure that everything that gos with that system is exported along with the area it self. This includes module scripts in some cases as well. A lot of newer updated crafting systems will use the OnPlayerChat event.

               Doesn't this system use a chest in the module named "clothing builder" ??

               Found this on old forums


  • You will need to import the crafting cloak blueprint.
  • It can be found in the CEP starter mod under:
  • Custom > Miscellaneous > Clothing > Cloak.
  • Name: Custom Cloak
  • Tag: mil_cloak
  • ResRef: mil_cloak
  • You do not need to add the cloak to the tailor's inventory. Simply import it and the crafting system will create the item as necessary.

I never made any changes to the dye portion of the CEP crafting system so I can only speculate on the problem until I get a chance to look into it more indepthly. Did you import the "dye_dyekit" conversation and the associated scripts including "dye_include".

               Have the ( dye_dyekit ) conversation and the ( dye_include ) script.What else comes to mind .How would a noob mess this up.

               The clothing builder, if you don't have it or you have more than 1 instance in the module, couldn't this be the issue??  (One way to check would be to update instance of clothing builder, if only one shows up, then your good, it's something else)



If nothing shows up in the module paint it somewhere, if more than one shows up, write down where they are and delete all but one..



(I'm not sure if the clothing builder works on the dye kit though :/)



But I had this very same problem, so I re-imported the Updated Dye Kit and it fixed it..
