               Hi all,

I'm not a scripter but I am a frequent script question asker and I couldn't let all my friends go someplace new and not come along, so here I am. Can't get rid of me. *snickers*

*hugs to all*

               Knight is  (I believe) asking if we're gonna put together a homebrew sticky or the like.

               If there was just one thing they did for these forums, it should be the code blocking.  It is so much easier to read and didn't take up as much page space in a post.

               Second note: I think it would be great if we started a wiki for all the scripting knowledge and working scripts. It is better if you can reference it by subject and add notes to it over time. There is also a wiki reference link on the left, maybe we could add that wiki in there.

               Sorry to butt in... I'm kind of a newb to NWN scriping... but I'm wondering if the scripting community would find it useful to put scripts - maybe just the final versions of them - in a wiki of some sort, so they can be edited later on, don't get lost in long threads, might be easier to search, and so on?

I'm aware of this location, but not sure what the community opinion of it is:

http://nwn.wikia.com...cript_directory

Just figgered I'd chuck that out there...

               Hmm..yet another place...

Dunno...guess the wiki is good for some things. Like...standard things pretty much...

Then we have the more custom stuff that probably will be here more. That's just the way it will work automatically I think...if someone doesnt take the effort to put everything on the wiki.

The stuff that is already in the Wiki is probably good even though I will stick more to searching forums when it comes to scripts...

====

About the code box....guess that is gone forever...well if you can't make complicated tables in BBCode....

====

I really dont like the way this forum (and other based on the same system) kind of bork up spacing between text. Sometimes it single...sometimes it double...hmm

               Wiki is great for it..  however 2 complications.    1.) We'd have to start pointing people there.   2.) In general, about 75% of the internet community are absolute morons when it comes to figuring out good Search Terms to find what they want.

I.E. Wanting to lock/close a door after its opened.

Searching for "Lock Door"

And far better served by seeking "Door auto close locking"
