(WIP) Green slime placables

Video Link

In this video it show different size based slimes. The two rows are the same models, but the one on the right is set to static and the one on the left is not. I can make them both look like the right row, but I cannot make both look like the left row (again engine limitations). This just showing the basic size breakdown, will change the shape of each size so they not the same. These are just floor ones, wall and ceiling ones will come later. Some questions, would it be better to have like bubbles, ripples , smoke effects(for like the slime eating away at the floor etc..) tied to them or separate so the builder can choice what to add?  Should I add tentacles working off the main body? The drip effects seem to be okay to me, but does the color match okay? Should I make them activated/deactivate, to hide below the walkmesh plane (so the builder can just set them to activated instead of spawning them at the spot?) These are placables so you would have to add a AOE effect or trigger to apply effects to pc/creatues walking into them. I can make a drop down slime like discussed in other thread it could be placable or effect either could work because with activate/deactivate on placables you can play the placable's activate animation once and then deactivated it. Like the drips you see they can be turned on or off with scripting.

Looking great. Having some volume to it is really nice..

I think separate bubbles and other effects would be better, if doable. I'm a fan of activate/spawn in animations, but I don't know about tentacles, maybe as an extra set. The dripping is a bit hard to see in the video though.

Options are always good. Some folks will like tentacles, some will not; same with bubbles, smoke from dissolving wood, etc. Same with color -- I prefer a blue/green algae color whereas others might prefer the lime green of Nickelodeon fame. Here's an inspirational pic of "rock slime:"

Yeah the dripping is hard to see in the video, sorry wanted to keep it low quality to save on size. In the game you can see them a lot better, I doing some fine tuning on it. I'm starting work on the tentacles as separate placables next with drip activate/deactivate animation for the hanging down ones.

I'm one of the few who likes the pure transparent green look, but I can take you picture and make texture out of it maybe put in as a optional download. Other who have done green slime monsters have made textures that you could easily put on the placable slime.

Oh I also make a slime effect so you pc can get slimed and drip it as they walk around.
