Ok well I gave a shot at making the path narrower. What do you think? Should I stay with the wider paths?

I think this one is more blended in with the forest like you where taking about CaveGnome.

The last one was for the Wild Woods Tileset


 


 


 


I did it for the Standard Forest Tileset as well and here is a picture of it.

I really like this one. I think I have found the right road / path for my forests / woods.

I actually like the first one, in my area we actually do see drier looking paths (like in the first image) even in forested areas. It probably the dryer climate. I like them all though. '<img'>

That is good to hear Sachie. I hope you like it.


 


I plan to work on reskinning T0R0's Rural Addon to blend with these two haks, which will help the looks of NWN Rural Tileset.


 


I also would like to reskin Project Q's TNO tileset to blend more with these.


 


Then I would like to reskin WoRoms Seasonal Summer Tileset to blend more with these has as well.


 


I want the roads, trees, grass, and so on to blend well between these haks. This way a builder can have loads of options in their module when using all these haks, yet without having having each hak look like a foreign land from one another.

               I don't think the road texture was such a big problem, nor is it the water. I think your main ground texture is the problem. It looks very unnatural. Even if your whole forest had nothing but red oaks, the ground texture wouldn't look quite right. It looks more like it's a foto that was taken on a parkway with asphalt below all those leaves. It is too homogeneous and too brown, nothing but leaves without any tiny twigs and other dead plants, let alone life ones.

Ok I had this ground texture on my PC from when I was first learning how to retexture and tried my hand at making a custom forest/grass ground.


 


 


 


Does it look better?

Or does this darker color ground look better. Its a little darker greens, more browns, and less yellows.
