The Official Overstatedly Eeeeeevil Wizard's Tower, for Blatant Evilists.


Because not all wizards are nice people.

Those first ordinary, bland, generic wizard towers were sort of... wizard tower sized.


The Ludicrously Sinister Evilist Tower is, however, EPIC. Only be inventing stupidly nonsensical, so-called words such as "meganormous" or "ultragargantuoidal" and so forth can the putridly impractical scale of this tower be appreciated.

You will likely NEVER see the top of this tower in-game since its farcical dimensions make it more or less impossible, even in a 32x32 Area, to get far enough away from it to actually witness the rubbish - not really worth seeing anyway - Blobs at its peak... High ground might help... (Unless you cheat and use that mod to allow cameras to look up...)


The idea was that it should loom malevolently and dominate the landscape in a nasty way... but Fifi says it's 'cause I can't count and got the scale wrong in gmax... All I have to say to that assertion, my dear, is that if so - how come the door is the right size, hm?

That looks ideal for use in cut-scenes in conjunction with the camera hak to give a real sense of foreboding.

Yet another Rubbish Wizard Tower...


Of the seven I've done thus far, I think this is my favourite though I'm not entirely sure why...

This was basically done to replace the utterly useless model I've been using for the library of the Systaria, a group of slightly mad scholarly researchers (though not wizards) in Demoness Tales. So it's actually an academic tower rather than an arcane one, but that doesn't stop the rest of you using it for whatever you want.

Cursory examination of the so-called tower suggests that, despite the stupidly overstated buttresses, it's actually as much a pyramid sort of thing as a tower sort of thing really. But that's what it's looked like in my artwork all these years, so it can't be helped...


Some of you may suspect that the large, round windows are somewhat familiar. This will likely be due to the fact that I used the texture for the Mages' Guild window from TES4 - Oblivion because it seemed apt (and because it fitted nicely).

Irrelevant as this observation is, for some unknown reason every time I try to append the suffix "jpg" to the image links, I catch myself writing "jpig". Since no porcines with a penchant for stepping into the road against the flow of the traffic are present here, this is a mystery to me.


Probably the keyboard has become cursed.

A nice, tall, pointy thing which unequivocally conforms to all mandatory nuances of "tower".


I textured it to look at home in a desert, since I needed a desert tower, but I've checked and it looks fine surrounded by trees and stuff too.

The weirdo emitters on the sort of "brazier" things nailed to the doorway are separate Placeables from my ever-expanding Loony VFX Pile. I have left the braziers unemittered so you can stick whatever sort of luminous nonsense you wish there, up to and including just completely normal flames if you want this as a non-wizard tower.

Evil teleport circle to go with the teleport control box. For simplicity, this is just an override for the all-sets' chessboard. Unlike my usual tiles, I've set the ambient/diffuse to nwmax suggestions. I'm not fond of the color in most places since I usually create with a really dark realm quality for the lighting, but I'm sure it will be more useful to people this way, and fit in with surrounding OC tiles.

Four distinct placeable hands are in the works which will fill the larger oval areas. They'll be spectral stone and holding some spectral metal chains. I'll do 2 hands, 2 varieties of each. The first variety will have a chain which is broken. The second will have a chain which points toward the center, as if holding a monster standing there. You can script the change from one to another and add some VFX to hide the swap.
