Desert City

Hi all

I was checking out some screenshots from NWN and ran across this one from NWN2

I really like the way this looks. I was just wondering if anyone has made a Desert city like this for NWN1? Looking at the pic we have most of the placeables already and the ground shouldn't be that hard I wouldn't think. That leaves the building which are mostly square so from someone who knows nothing at all about making a tileset this looks like it wouldn't be that hard to make for NWN1 yet I think it looks really nice for a desert city.

I believe the buildings shown are from Barons Adobe Pack. Most of the visible placeables are just parts of the standard set. (There's also an interior tileset that was intended to fit the same style.)

WoW I love the buildings and the trees in Barons Adobe Pack. I wonder how hard it would be to make a NWN1 tileset using Barons Adobe Pack as a base?

Is " Baron - RWS " still around?

I believe that Baron of RWS has moved on. But he and Hellfire left behind a very nice legacy.

As for porting to NWN, I believe that has been done already with some of the NWN2 building placeables. But you'll need to contact RWS to get permission, as they have some limits on the permitted use.

There's no screenshots on the page, unfortunately, but CTP Babylon is pretty nice. There's a number of other nice looking ones on the Vault.

It also has buildings that are similar in style to the RWS Adobe set.
