Submitting:

1 walkable water tile for City Exterior

4 boat creatures

2 flotsam creatures

walkable_water_screenshot.jpg

The larger creatures are really for cutscenes or bespoke scripting (the default AI is entirely inappropriate).

Pack is for vanilla NWN, but CEP-compatible. Includes tutorials for adding the tile to custom versions of the tileset, and making your own compatible creature models.

Looking at the image it would be super cool if it could be used as a tail, of course I see now it would require different phenotypes for each boat model so pc wouldnt stand like idiot in middle but would be directing boat at ruddle or sitting somewhere.

Problem is the ammount of work needed to be done for this is overwhelming, Im surely not capable of doing this in my currently limited time frame.

I am currently just finishing a house made of the upturned hull of a wrecked ship.

MIGHT also get some aquatic monsters done, but I'm not sure on time. The one's I'd finished have just gone in my Spleen Hak...

Also, I've got the helmet finished for the old diving suit but nothing else. However, Shem has stepped in to take that over and is doing the suit. I'm emailing him the helmet so there should be a complete suit this month thanks to his efforts.

Nautilus Interior Tileset probably will get done, but it won't be this month. At least, not by me anyway.

Selena, Goddess of Atlantis, puzzles over further strange objects that have descended from the surface world above...

DiveHelm.jpg

Just a vague thought... As I mentioned above, I've only got so far as doing the helmet for the old diving suit since I'm still not completely sure what I'll want for the ATLANTIS Modules...

Currently, I've just got this Placeable version. (I think Shem's going with his own version that better matches the wearable suit he's doing, since it's an all in one robe - and looks good), but I just wondered would anybody find a Placeable helmet useful for dive chambers or whatever? If so, I can throw it in the big waterproof sack with everything else.

Yup, as PHOD has said, I'm working in a diving suit; I couldn't resist to do that....

I can't promise a robe for all races and sexes, because I don't have too much experience with robes, but at least I think that I'll be able to make a diver creature...

Here's a mock up in the toolset of the most favourable case:

walkable_water_mockup.jpg

Here I've superimposed the riding phenotype on the walkable water tile and the smallest boat creature.

For use as a tail, the boat model would need a slight position adjustment to sit forward of the humanoid.

The same could be done for other small boat models which I haven't converted to creatures.

I'm not sure it looks good enough, though.

P.S. In making this, I discovered that horse-and-rider look pretty good wading through the walkable water. By design, dismounted humans are barely visible (water above their eyes) unless using the flying/swimming pheno.

Any chance someone can make the diving suit from Ray Harryhausen's 1960's version of Jules Verne's "Mysterious Island"?

Looks like it was designed pretty faithfully from Verne's writing.  I didn't read The Mysterious Island, but it's a sequel to 20K Leagues Under the Sea, which I did read, and Captain Nemo took great delight in explaining at length how self-sufficiently he lives by getting all of his building materials, clothing textiles, food, drink, and medicine from sea life, having severed his ties entirely from the land.  So that diving suit would fit in with that idea.

I hope flying ships are relevant to this month theme '<img'>

The first anchor is planned as an upgrade to the original tiny SpellJammer placeable anchor and will use its 2da space and name.

Anybody knows a good robes tutorial?. I have finished the human male and female version of my diving suit robes. And seems to work well. However I wonder if there is any way to make the other races versions automatically?

PS- About the robes, apparently they always have to show at least the head of the character. So I have to sacrifice accuracy, and made the helmet as an independent model, also the oxygen tanks are another model.

Pish... have an 'On Equip' script that removes the players head model, and a Unequip script that puts it back on. I do that on Avernostra with that creepy headpiece CODI robe so the creatures faces don't show through.

Shem - NW Armory automatically alters clothing parts for other phenos... Does it work on robes? I can't remember. I don't think I ever tried it on robes, but it might be worth testing.
