I converted this dugout canoe OBJ model to MDB and it worked out pretty nicely. You'll have to trim the poly count way down though.

Shemsu-Heru:

I really like the dolphin !

( Fyi: I have many other deep sea meshes/textures that came from previous harvests)

Please consider that the shark anim is only the beginning (I was working on it too)

Dolphins have numerous behaviours that could be well captured by custom animations.

But I have had no time to work on it ....  ':crying:'

Thanks!

However as I have said, animations aren't my strong point. I'll be glad if you or anybody would expand those animations in the future. I think that, It wouldn't be too hard because, I have set the animations in a different mdl file than the dolphin; The dolphin uses that file as supermodel. I also have planned to making some whale models which would used the same supermodel file....

BTW: If someone would make some setsounds of dolphin and whales I would really appreciate that....

The orca model is one from "tf3dm.com". I have reduced its polygons with "Meshlab":

Shemsu. Good work. Is this possible to use in low water as well? 1.69 sharks has high water and low water variants, high water is more into underwater area, low water is into rural /tropical where you have walkable water on the shores. While Orca wouldnt be very useful around shores, it could be great to be used in a walkable open water intented for ships.

What would need a low water version, made it move closer to the ground?

This would be a great opportunity for someone to create the proper spell scripts that would fail underwater.

Lightning Bolt becomes like Fireball!

Fire spells fail completely.

Movement rate is like Slow.

Haste is like Normal Movement.

There has never been a script package available for builders with this. Over all the years, anyone who claims to have done this proper, mention it's in their PW include file, come check us out -insert advertisement here- to see it in action!

FP!

My HR base has a added spell collum for spells that do not work underwater, other effects can be put in on spell by spell basis easily. It also has the movement effects, visual and skill checks etc.. all related to underwater system. You welcome to rip anything out for this CCC or look at it for ideas and how to set it all up. Most can be done through spell hooking with a marker on caster and targers of being in or underwater.

Sorry I not releasing anything right now, my main computer I do all my nwn work is having major problem of freezing up. I think it might be near it last legs and I'm starting to build a new systems also.  '<img'> good luck all.

This image doesn't have any visible mesh marks, but it wouldn't be too hard to clone it as a nwn model.

MD, I think that last one is definitely (very) old school - I think it's an actual physical model made from paper and circular self adhesive felt pads.

Also known as a sperm whale. If you make a creamy white version of the skin texture you will basically have a model of "Moby Dick".
