I made some Jocker heads a while ago (never published them)

Are you interested in them?

Has anyone ever managed to find a way to get a spotlight working in NWN?

NWN only understands the concept of an omnidirectional light so spotlights, as such, are out.  This....is probably a good thing to be honest.  Shadows cause enough trouble as it is.  There have been some nice workarounds, though, such as the one Jezira and SixThrice describe in her "Flashlight light cone help request" thread in the Omnibus.

One of the recentish CCC's had placeable light beams for old ruins, etc.   Could a placeable spotlight model/VFX/emitter approximate the effect?

You are welcome to send them to me. Once all the content is done I plan to upload it all to the vault. I can include what you have as part of it.

I tnink you can use makup worn by KISS as inspiration for clown faces

Meh.... I like KISS as much as the next person, but their makeup isn't exactly terrifying or creepy. Though there is something to be said about simplicity vs complexity when it comes to something being unnerving. Thanks for the idea, but I'm going to have to nix the idea of using KISS makeup.

Thanks for the advice. I'll look into it. I'm not looking for incredible shadow work. Mostly a 'lightbeam' strong enough and solid enough to kind of approximate it.

I know I'm being really controversial here, but is there any chance of a few non-evil-looking clowns - possibly of the Pierrot, Harlequin and Columbina variety?  '<img'>

Thanks, the more I can gather up the better I can make this dark circus for my server, and all the better the pack I can upload to the vault will be. Give me a bit and I can send you the MDL for the jester head. The skull jester might work best as a helmet though. Just my opinion.

LOL. Well it is supposed to be an evil carnival. However not all the clowns and props are immediately 'Evil'. The female head with the jester hat is harley (HA!) all that evil looking. Nor the outfit. I've mostly been working on scripting and building the actual carnival right now so I haven't posted much, but the outfit designs aren't all that 'Immediately' evil looking.

clown ghost ended more like a jester ghost (even creepier) but i have run intro heavy technicall problems. All textures load mirrored ingame both horizontaly and verticaly.

Did you convert to DDS, that might have done it. Though I think that only does it vertically.

Worst case scenario I'd just mirror the texture both ways. Cheap, but it might work.

Step 1: had texture was not a multipplier of two, resized

Step 2: converted to dds

to do

Step 3: fix his head

Thx poet converting to dds fixed that error

Taking a closer look at PHoD's Spleen Creatures II, in addition to the spleen jesters, there is the Nameless and its thralls:

Nice fit with the evil circus / theatre theme, I thought.
