Thank you for the offers of help!

AD, I haven't had gmax or nwmax installed for a long time (~2 computers ago?).   I can track something down if it comes to it.

Shadowing2029, I can play with your texture for the emitters after we get the skin right;  MD, the current version of the model is here:

https://www.dropbox....maggot.zip?dl=0

That model references the texture you provided and some placeholder ones (included) inherited, for now, from the Water Ellie/Blood Golem.   If we get something we're happy with, I can do up a quick portrait afterwards.

I have done an area pre-fab using the ctp gothic exterior tileset.

This is as close as I can get to the picture in the original TSR Ravenloft boxed set.

I did up 6 examples, all calling on the first. These are fairly disgusting, but I prefer the 5th one over all the rest. The 6th uses the texture I had originally sent, while the others use the second set of textures. All are quite nasty, but one or two are not good quality for animating.

These make my wife cringe and make that noise people make when they are disgusted.

So disgusting

Note:

I did not remove the bloody spurt emitters, but it did ask me on export if I wanted to delete some zero-face objects. You may need to put them back since I have no idea what they were for. Sorry if that caused any trouble.

Also, you can see where the arm nodes meet the body, the texture is stretched. This is because the base pose is not that of the idle pose. I'd personally use it as is, but if need be, somebody better at that kind of stuff could modify the texture at those locations.

Thanks MD!  I agree on your preference for #5 and will work with that.  I'm not going to mess with the stretchy textures either, methinks.   After reading around a bit and poking maggots in game, I'm not worried about the zero-face objects.  I may go back and nuke them from the Blood Elemental version, too.   You had the model linked back to c_maggot #1 for animations, so I've changed that back to the Blood Golem model.  Folks won't be able to use the Maggot Gollie without the Blood Ellie, but we'll save a little space.  Going back to the description ( http://www.lomion.de/cmm/golemagg.php ), I suppose I could have scaled him down rather than leave him the size of the elemental, but I like him this size and the end user can adjust creature sizes in-toolset with tailmodel.2da support, so I'm not going to sweat that.

I've got Shadowwing2029's texture plugged in with some minor adjustments to meet my satisfaction as a replacement for the blood emitters, and I'm considering trying to add some flies buzzing around the top before I make portraits and call it done.

Thanks all for your help and suggestions!

Is PHoD's drider a new animation set, or just a model upgrade? I haven't looked (feeling lazy)

Link me the model you want to use, at the scale you want to use it, and I will link you back a retextured version using the planar maggot mess. At that point you should be able to substitute any planar texture of similar size, like worms, or brains, or sewer water. I have some time tonight if you are interested.

In the meantime, feel free to further disgust yourself with these darker and seamless larvae.

Hi guys! I can't build anything, but I'm a regular on Ravenloft: Prisoners of the Mist, Bluebomber4evr's PW, and an avid fan of all things Ravenloft, and I can honestly say... what you guys are doing is exceptionally awesome. Keep up the great work!

Werebat.jpg

Werebat; I never like too much the CEP werebat, so I have made my own. It has taken quite time and work, but I think that it looks good. This creature uses a modified version of "project Q lycanthrope animations". However, unlike my other lycanthropes, this can't hold weapons or shields.

Hey

Could anyone consider updating a Carrion Crawler - I am thinking here about baba's improved creatures CC The model is far better than the one provided by Q & CEP

It has only animation issues - walking (it moves like a slug) and death (the animation repeats sometimes) There is no varianty of bugs in NWN (we have spiders & bettles but that is all) It fits very well in this months theme and I would be very greatfull if someone hear my plee

PS: You guys are all awsome! Keep up the great work !
