Egyptian Goddess, or Egyptian priestess, or Stargate goa'uld, or whatever...

Egyptian_Goddess01.jpg

I have made this from a free model at www.3dmodelfree.com; I think that she is a character from the game "Unreal Tournament 2003".

Early Gaulguth the barbarian sporting some torn-off green dragon heads for shoulder pads. Some more dragon bits and various trophies of death and destruction would make a good set for this fiend.

The Jing Yi Yao basilisk from 3DModelFree looks like it could be use as a Yuan-Ti Demigod.

Thinking today I might make an alternate Malkizid and see if he walks better on the balor animations. I kinda like the chicken walk he has now, but it could be better, or at least different. We'll see.

Got just a few more days left to finish this stuff up, and I am very happy with what I've done so far. The group this month has made some very great contributions! If we had more active artists, and more months where the project really inspires people, we could make a great game so much more intensely great, really fast!

Shemsu-Heru   - Very nice to see something Egyptian turn up in this month's CCC.  '<img'>

Had a dig around that website and found this:http://www.3dmodelfr...els/26708-0.htm      Not a creature, but certainly something we've not seen in NWN much before.

Some very nice stuff this month. Would have loved to see some sea or ocean-related deities or try my hand at something shrine-related.... but work got busy, heh.

@ KlatchainCoffee: Unfortunately the model referred by yourself, have an enormous quantity of vertices, it would be very complicated to integrate in NWN.......

Sorry - I've been prowling about in the bushes, pouncing on stuff...

Back now to NWN; I've been killing more gods by applying colossal bricks to them when they least expected it...

PHoDDeadSpleen.jpg

This one's more a bleached bone look than the earlier, stony, fossilized ones. Was going to dull it down a bit but I quite like it as I is. Blatantly, it's the exact shape of a Spleen.

Also had a very silly idea... Dead Gods as Skyboxes.

Have conducted unethical experiments. It looks... OK. Ish. A bit... I'll throw a few more bricks at it and then post an image, see what you think...

If bricks are not sufficient, try the donkey:

It's probably way too late for this thought but... I just realised that there is a comparatively fast way of making a number of egyptian gods - heads. As many of the deities of this pantheon are basically animal heads on human bodies, all it would take to make many gods & goddesses would be to make the requisite heads (Horus = Falcon, Bast = Cat (her son who's name escapes me had a lion's head), Anubis = Jackel, etc.).

@Tarot Redhand: In my MOD "Shemsu-Heru's Egyptian Armory" I had made some masks (helmets) of some Egyptian gods...

New Super Malkizid Deluxe

lRej3rk.png

This one is using a modified nycaloth animation set. I moved the shoulder armor to the other side due to casting graphics making it look really dumb. His armor is now more regal, as it should be for a devil lord, but still dirty. No, he isn't blue, he's gray, but the caster trying to take him out is casting an ice spell. The wings are modified from Kayle from LoL, and attached to a modified balor wing bone set. They are also set up to cast shadows now too. The wing texture is from an actual bird image. There is a small amount of animation mistake in the legs, but I've tried to minimize it as much as possible. His legs were just not 100% compatible with the balor leg animations. He's lost the movement in his right hand fingers since the balor model does not have fingers. But in all, he's a lot less chicken-like now. The wings are on-model, so they perform as expected for the balor/nycaloth model animations, not the dynamic wing animations which are unworthy for this creature type.

This is just an experiment... A rubbish one.

I've proven to my satisfaction that there's no reason you can't create Dead Gods as a Skybox. This example is, as I say, a bit rubbish, cobbled together badly from assorted sources including forensic photographs of a decayed ribcage which looked really good and now ends up looking like some bits of old packing tape...

But it proves the principle.

PHoDDGSky.jpg

If anyone wants the rubbish thing, I'll throw it in, but there's all sorts of stuff to be pounced upon here, so I haven't really got time to refine a series of Dead God Skyboxes for this month. Some time maybe...

Just a final note, in case I didn't mention it; this Skybox is a bit rubbish.
