MD, isn't an artifact, it's history and powers, pretty much whatever the builder decides it is?  A sword can be one, and orb can be one, a small jeweled urn can be one, an abalone shell can be one, even an unassuming rock can be one--though admittedly it wouldn't look very eye catching.  I'm pretty sure that whatever you have in mind is more than worthy of artifact status.  '<img'>

@ S-H: Wow, that Sword of Kas is absolutely gorgeous!   '<3'   '<3'   '<3'  '<3'   '<3'   '<3'  '<3'   '<3'   '<3'

(My ancient Sword-of-Kas script love can be found @: http://nwvault.ign.c...=159845&id=3447)

(aka Necromancy 101: Spawning Undead)

(or, "The Sword of Kas"; how-i-spent-my-summer-vacation-as-a-naughty-vampire-god!)

(A 2008 spawning undead demo that was scripted with the Sword of Kas featured as a Centerpiece Artifact, spawning temporary vampire allies from its kills, as per the "spawn undead" pnp 3.0-3.5 ability, and featured a colored-text battlecry system, that promises to "swallow your sou!")

The Sword of Kas has always been one of my favorite Artifacts and Greyhawk storylines (Vecna vs Kas the savior/traitor) and i can't wait to use!!!

I know I posted the first few images as able to be placed on the tables and stuff, but since I have wrapped these to fit the fingered hand, they look really bad laying on the ground. I could do _g varieties of the various items without too much difficulty. Should I do that? How useful do you think those would be, and how often do you want to see things like artifact gems just laying around? I don't want to do it if nobody thinks they will use them.

My hut interior has turned into a 50 area module - god bless Dragon Magazine and Roger Moore. This in turn has led me down the road of all kinds of custom goodness. That being said, I'm reducing my submission to the creature and placeable versions of the hut. The module is gonna take too long to make this month's challenge.

IMO the Highlight of Dragon Magazine #83 "The Dancing Hut" Article is "a Soviet SJ-1 Tank she picked up while visiting earth during the second world war" (a direct quote), in Room 10, the Grand Museum... (that and baba-yagas-hut is also a pocket-dimension-tesseract-dungeon, so fun!!!)

Heh, perhaps u might ask randomsys what EE/Civ has available as assets... (or Call-of-Duty, World-of-Tanks or other WWII war-game-sims)

(Tho while the Soviet tanks dominated "the lands of the ice and snow", for warmer climates give me a good-old M-1 Abrahms any day, lol)

@Carcerian: could your script be used to change the type of sword, by a player, according their preferences for the sword of Kas?

Not the above script, no, its a spawning undead script only, lol, but if it helps i would be happy to make a mockup as was suggested above, as an on-acquire convo, to let you choose the size of your swords (idea sounds simple in practice) on acquisition or on use...

(and dont forget the double blader, for rangers too '<img'>)

*literally burns the midnight oil*

(as far as resrefs go, we can just call them it_ws_kas# were number is size of sword)

The Baba Yaga and WW2 tank thing kinda reminds me of a Pathfinder adventure ("Rasputin must die" or something, though that is WW1 of course). Never read or played that one, but I guess it was probably inspired by the one above.

Also, good to see the worst James Bond of them all redeemed himself by writing awesome D&D adventures. '<img'>

Quick Mockup:

(minus the spelling errors of course  '<img'>)

Suggested natural size = dagger, to be merciful on player inventory when first acquired...

I have a few tanks from EE2 and Civ 4, but this might be the closest I could find on the web - http://tf3dm.com/3d-...-122-19536.html

(tho if anyone makes it into a plc, just please make sure the Orientation Node is facing the rear, so it can also be used as a plc monster, heh)
