Not sure without any further info, but maybe the npc in question is missing the according armor proficiency and unequips the robe when loading the module.

A robe hides some body parts and leaves others like for example heads and hands visible. What parts of the body are covered by a robe is controlled by a 2da file (I think it's called robes.2da). If your robe is missing parts it should have it is almost certain there's a wrong line in that 2da file.

This NPC should be a complete model...not like a human or elf...etc

Since it is a creature, not just a robe, maybe the animations are broken and the lower part of the "robe" ends up somewhere below the ground or something if it is made up of parts and isn't a skinmesh. The animations aren't played in the toolset so you'll see all of the robe there while in game an 'idle' animation is played which might move some parts of the robe to a wrong position. This problem can probably only be solved by taking a look at the model.

Again just a stupid guess, but wouldn't this problem show up in the creature properties window then as well, Zwerkules?

Im stuck.....I will upload the model when I can get around to finding it in the 2da...for now I just design a human with similiar clothing

maybe something changed in the 2da from 1.68 to 1.69 ?

maybe I missed something when I updated ?

I'm looking over the original models from the Vault now. I'll get back to you shortly.

EDIT - No issue with the models - robe appears fine in game. Did you get them from here? This is where I got them from. There is a much better looking Elminster model - might be just a head - in the CEP that could easily be reskinned as Gandalf.

Ok, model works without problems for me, too, maybe try to put everything but the 2da from the hak pstemarie linked to in your mod's tophak and see if the problem still persists.

Redid the model. Get the remake HERE. When I have more time I'll add the cloak.

I ddin't delve too deeply. The originals worked fine on my computer. My son's computer, which is older, was a different story - same problem you described. Plus the textures looked blah - wrong ambient/diffuse settings, etc. I decided it was just as easy to redo the model using something I knew worked as a solid base to build on. With testing and redoing the textures, making the new models only took about 15 minutes. Sometimes its just easier to start from scratch than work with someone else's mistakes.
