The CCC is about bringing new stuff to NWN.  New stuff that is derived from other stuff has been the meat and potatoes of NWN CC for years. That creature was posted for others to use on another website, permission has been given for it to be used, and it was modified and animated to bring it into NWN as a gothic/ravenloft creature.  Works for me, though the color does seem a bit too bright for something that would live in a gothic/ravenloft swamp.

Actually the controversy was over the noble vampires, not the Creature from the Black Lagoon model.

No problem, because my choice have been to add the new texture as an alternative one for the original model. So anybody would be able to choose what of both, they prefer.

I completely concur on the awesomness of this!  I know I'm wishing for the moon here, but... if he only came with swim animations... '^_^'

               @ KlatchainCoffee

I'm afraid that make a new group of animations like that is over my skills.
However if you change it's supermodel for the flying phenotype animations, icluded in CEP.

That could be quite close to swimming.

Interesting. So we could supermodel to the flying animation…. I had no idea.

I wonder something else as well: is it possible to apply the bullywug or kuotoa animation setup (the animations for those creatures in project q) to these creatures?

That depends if those creatures have the same kind, and quantity of bones, with the same names, than my creature.

I just have remembered that this creature includes the ghoul animations. I have made this in order to be compatible with some popular MODs that have changed ghoul animations.
So you would need to delete my creature animations first.

Sadly dating myself, the creature from the black lagoon will *always* be in black and white for me, just the way I saw it first, and therefore obviously the way god intended it.

But the muted green is a step in a direction I prefer. This month's topic looks to be as incredible as last months. Go all of you.

TiZeta and Shemsu-Heru; you make a great team. Thanks to you both.

Love the green man of the swamp. Every time I see the back of it in the screen, I'm looking for a zipper '<img'>

The creature is awesome. A slight shinyness would be awesome maybe, like the Sahuagin have?
