               Has anyone heard anything about this tileset release from low?

               I think it got absorbed into the Mirkwood Swamp Tileset, but I could be wrong.

               I just checked for ya. There are bog tiles, but i didnt see anything about a cypress swamp. It must be archived until a later notice, or put into his PW. i was just curious if low was still working on it, or got it finished

               I'm thinking Tarot is correct in that it was absorbed into the final release of Mirkwood or, at the very least, was released as WoRmSwamps then incorporated into his final Mirkwood.

               It was meant to be an individual release of a tileset, for the older version is still available (v2.0). I had started to use the older version, but had to remove it because "... coming very soon ..." never came. I went with a smaller swamp HAK in the end and rebuilt all the swamps areas with it, finally removing LW's Cypress set.

For interest sake, the newer version was mentioned in 2009.

A shame really, because the Cypress offered a unique atmosphere.

In the end, I went with this and ripped it down to 2megs.

               @ FesterPot you took the words right out my mouth thats exactly what i was thinking when i seen it so long ago. I had hoped that he mightve gotten it finished. Maybe he did and put it into his pw?

               He may have included it in his PW, but I don't have the patience to search through countless HAKs for related files and testing it. I integrated a lot of Cypress into my next module, but there were still a number of path finding issues - little log crosses, and the bridges - that caused the annoying NWN no-no walk sound. After waiting so long for the update, I just went a different direction.

As for the link to the other swamp, it includes TWO swamp versions, depending on your needs. I only needed one though. It's a great tileset, and I think you'll find it very useful for making some unique looking swamps.

               Work on Cypress was discontinued in favor of Mirkwood. Parts of were then later salvaged and put into Mirkwood. There are versions of Cypress that survive on the Vault, but as FP mentioned - those have issues.

Well, Arbor Falls server is still up according to its website. The most recent post to its forums is from a fella in the bug report section that posted a bug with a quest in October 2013. No reply to that thread. WORM's last login to the Arbor Falls Forums was Jan 9, 2013. Last login here on the Bioware forums was 3 months ago. 

I wouldn't count WORM out yet. It's not uncommon for him to drop off radar then reappear - real life and all that.

               from what i heard about Arbor Falls, he plans on keeping it running for as long as he can. He had it setup so he and his friends could play on it and shared it with the community. always splendid to hear.

ill send him a message about the cypress see if i get a response
