You could always vary the look with some vine growths up the sides and random flowering window boxes. Just a thought.

That's a very nice idea.  Thanks!

That's one really big building you built!

What kind of tree holds that weight? Maybe having a large trunk bursting through the rooftop could add to that big building, with dangling vines that move in the wind, or the stairs carved into a giant branch that wraps around the second building.

Will there be an autumn version of the tree leaves too, or maybe a winter version where snow gathers thickly in the V between the windows, and icicles form, pointing downward like its own roofline of crystalized spears.

FP!

It's build with the fabled carbon-nanowood.   It is crazy strong, incredibly light, harmonious with nature, beautiful for decades, non-flammable, non-toxic, eats green house gases, improves golf scores, never needs waxing, can support the weight of an average adult male dragon, never rots, never splinters, is magic resistant, and looks smashing in the glow of the setting sun.

...and it makes one AMAZING looking building.  I can't wait to move in!  Or...have my elves move in.  I'm good with either one.

Well, the centre tiles with trees growing up through them will offer some support (i.e. the ones in the style of the third rough concept pic that I posted, kindof an "alley"of trees). I am thinking about putting some supporting tree trunks underneath some of the other, heavy-looking middle tiles, though without leaves, since sun wouldn't get under there.  I hadn't thought about trees growing right through the building and through the roof, like chimney shafts.  It might be worth a try, at least, to see how it looks.  But I do admit that the size of the building is really more properly suited to the eventual stone version of the tileset.

Thanks for the compliments!

Edit: I forgot to say that I haven't really thought about doing seasonal versions of this set.  Not ruling it out, but it's not an immediate priority for me.  Others are free to make seasonal versions if they want them sooner than they think I'm likely to make said versions.

Nothing substantial for the time being!  My free time is currently being taken up with home decorating.  I should be finished with that in a week's time.  Then I'll get back to this tileset.  '<img'>  Thanks for asking, though.  It's encouraging to know that you're interested.

Just to give folks an update, I am currently doing unglamorous work on this tileset: adding a ton of variations for building centre tiles (I'm currently on twenty, with many more to come), making terrains and crossers join up (e.g. hall to building, walkway to hall-on-platform), and creating the basic geometry for an alley crosser.  It is all going splendidly.  Nothing unexpected, though, so I'm not posting screenshots.  The stuff is just what you'd imagine it to be.

You might call such things unglamorous, Este, but such is the stuff that great tilesets are made of.
