Odd toolbox problem.
« on: August 16, 2013, 03:02:37 am »

I'm working on the Egyptian bit again and I've made a tile group that I can paint & run successfully in toolbox but when I re-open the toolbox and try to open the area I get an access violation. Any clues peeps?

Likely a group definition error.  One thing for sure is that the first, upper left tile, can never be a random tile.  If you have it defined that way, rotate the entire group by 90degrees, so, it moves that tile to the upper right hand corner instead, or rotate the group by 180 and paint that tile in lower right.  All of the above assuming a 2x2 sized group.  If the group is larger than that, the same upper left corner can NOT be a random tile and you will have to adjust the group definition so that the group is rotated.

Beyond that?  No clue right off hand.

It's a 3x6 group with all the tiles defined so it must be something else. It's odd that I can place it and play it straight away but not close & re-open it in toolbox. Most perplexing...

Did you try erasing the group after placing it?
