Thank you, when I have time I am going to try and put armor on it, and maybe re- texture.

I like the lizard quite a bit. But I agree that a different texture, maybe something more sinister and dark would be interesting to see.

Work in progress. I don't like the armor all that well, but I may have to get use to it. The color may need to change.

Something I've always wanted to see in NWN are the solifugids and pedipalps that serve Lolth in the classic Queen of the Demonweb Pits module. These are giant versions of obscure real-world arachnids.

The Solifugid, aka, "sun spider" or "camel spider":

The Large Pedipalp - Schizomida (whip scorpion):

The Huge Pedipalp - Amblypygi (cave whip scorpion or "cave spider")

               Draygoth28:

I like the lizard a lot (and hey, it's not a spider!).  I think it looks both natural and like it could live in an environment of giant caves and tunnels.

I think that you might want to consider a darker texture that would blend a bit better in the darkness and stone of the Underdark.  Most things more brightly colored are likely going to be eaten quicker...yeah, evolution probably even works sometimes in D&D. '<img'>

And thanks for making something that's not a spider. '<img'>  Drow stuff I could use for my own PW (where the drow don't worship a spider goddess).

PHoD:

Nice to see your demented touch in the CCC!

And I like driders and spider stuff, I just don't have as much use for them as I do non-spider stuff for drow.  I'm really digging those non-white webs.  I'm thinking my PW might be in need of a dark forest filled with webs and spiders large enough to eat a half-orc.

MerricksDad:

I like that draegloth.  I could see that appearing in my PW's demonic realm.

Shemsu-Heru:

I like that female drow head.

Edited to add: Wow. Only 4 days into the month and there's already a lot of things being made.

Bluebomber I kinda hate you a little bit in the face. I am arachnaphobic, and I am dying so hard right now, with random spiders jumping at my face from the screen. FFfffff...

Good looking content though, so far!

I looooove spiders. Ironically I do not like drow all that much

I'll see if I can get myself to whip something up this time around. Worse case scenario, spider golems. The best type of golem. (Yeah they'll just be spiders rewrapped to use the drow structure textures)

Just a pointless note:- I love Spiders too, remarkably alert and their reactive intelligence is a lot higher than most people probably realize... I've got a freakishly large Dysdera crocata here and I KNOW that she learns from experience and remembers stuff. Possibly better than I do, but that's not necessarily a feat of above average ability.

Anyway, I've just gone back to one of my Modules and replaced all the glowing BioWare Webs in the Drider Queen's egg chamber with my new ones that soak up the Area lighting and the difference is even better than I'd hoped. They should certainly be of use to anyone wanting webs for dark, dull Areas that look, well, a tad more realistic. If I have any further time, I might try adding some more stuff before throwing a disgustingly coccooned mass of gubbins at TheAD.

PS:- If anyone could get an arachnologically accurate Cave Spider (image above) of gigantic proportions into NWN, I too would be overjoyed. Fascinating creatures and also, they look outrageously sinister for an animal which is, of course, in no way sinister at all.

Working diligently on the drow alternates. Sorry no pics. Having a blast though. Decided to go off-official content and started using some pics from some 3rd-ed custom content, more, Pathfinder content, and a lot of inspiration from reaper minis. Getting much better results now! I am however not doing skins as planned. Its now going to be a nice combination of danglies, skins and trimesh, such as in beholder and named NPC's for OC. Think all the best aspects of "Masterius", and as originally planned, "Halaster". I'm trying to be neutral in colors though, sticking to blacks and grays, with lots of ash-white, over bright reds and purples. Nothing says you can't change the textures on me later though.

great stuff so far guys, great stuff!

about that camel spider I always wanted to do it using my hunting spider mesh as a base. I really think my spider model is very good to start with cuz it´s mouth claws are very big already, the body and legs are almost identical and the texture very easy to modify!

I will see what i can do for this creature!

You are all free to modify my spider as well of course:)

Here a reminder how it looks like:

I was actually gonna ask you if you minded me tearing apart your spiders to get more spiders out of them. Only problem is solifuge have the pedipalps and all up front

Shemsu, the eyebrows stick out because they are a lot sharper than the rest of the head's texture. I don't know how sharpening the rest of the texture would turn out. If that does look bad, try to make the eyebrows less sharp.
