New Building Placeable Imports
« Reply #180 on: February 13, 2014, 07:37:31 pm »

I'll throw the above animals together for you and send them your way.The big ones for me were the Gorilla, Camels and wild Elephant.Other than that, the Rhino and Hippo are high on my list.

Just noticed at the end of the textures directory for WP2 that there are some nice white variations of things seht to you already - a White Tiger and Lion among otheres. I'll send those too.

Are you saying you want me you to send ALL the animals I can put together? If so, that would be an awesome release when done.

Did you get the animation problem figured out or are you still working with the default NWN ones?

Great work, loving what you bring to the community!

These are animals that would not be mountable, correct, and be useable as normal animal encounters in a module, such as out in the wilderness?

FP!

Tons of animals and people coming your way then. I'll assemble them and start sending them out later today. Looking forward to some screenshots if you have the time.

Glad to hear you're moving swiftly. I haven't heard from Killmonger so I assume a combination of real life and working on the animations is taking his time.

Fester, I think some of the animals Draygoth is working with will show up as mounts, as that was his original project.

WP2 packs going out now - all that you haven't got yet. 2 packs with 50 new animals and some white variants.

Should keep you busy till I get some more done.

               Thanks for the last send...

Btw:  Did Zwerkules retrieve his cow?

The animation nut is proving to be tough one. I'm still working on it.
I've reviewed the unique animations available.
I know you are on the right track Draygoth28 (wolves, deer, oxen, raven...)
Bioware must have used an in-house script which was never released.

Onward !

Left a note to Zwerkules above with a few pics of what I have in that area. Haven't seen him reply or PM back yet. If he does I'll send him whatever he needs.

Assuming the image is on the internet at myurl, use the BBCode button to compose in plain text, then type

(img)myurl(/img)

with square brackets around the tags instead of round ones.

If the image is not at myurl? I mean it's waiting in my "ram" as a bmp or jpg <no pun intended>

You'll need to have it uploaded to somewhere on the web. I've been using imageshack but they're going from free to pay soon, so I'll be switching. Maybe Photobucket would be good.

               Draygoth28,

I've done the basic mesh conversion to Max7 for all of Rd's last send.
Pm me and I'll send them to you if you like...

KM,I've never joined flickr so I'm not sure.

Tarot, Looking at some pics on the web for Loki, it looks like it might be too high poly for NWN.

I did some looking around a while back, plus as I was playing other games, sometimes I would think "That might be good for NWN"

Some other ideas might be.......Dragon Shard,Demon Stone and Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance - not sure of the polycount but they are from Atari so there shouldn't be any legal problems. If the 3d Ripper program works on these they could be good model resources.

The old MMO Dark Age of Camelot use nifs. Morrowind and Oblivion do as well but I think those are too high poly.

If the 3d Ripper program works on these - King's Bounty, Heroes of Might and Magic 5, Hinterlands, Majesty 2, Age of Wonders 2, Dungeons

Conan, Phantasy Star Online or Summoner for Gamecube.
