What I meant about the 2DAs was trimming the deer 2DA down to *just* the deer lines. This makes it easier to merge into the Appearance/Portrait 2DAs you use. The lines can (and unfortunately do, as you've found) go in any order.
Ahh yes.... think I see what you mean now. I've found that there are 8 lines for these precious deer too.
It's not really too many that i can'thandle though. Just a bit of renumbering each of the lines, particularly as I
have now put them in with the CEP 2.4 too.

One of my cherished, far future projects is a utility shell that does all that merging for you. It's a sub-project of the Launcher/Updater/MOptimizer project. But don't hold your breath. We're still learning :-P
Sounds quite interesting. I haven't read too much into the link you provided yet.
Is this supposed to be a project which is/will be slightly better than the usual 2da editors you can find listed on
n.w. vault? Right now, I found at least 1 or 2 of them there which can handle the 2da's I use quite well for editing I need to do e.t.c
And I'm glad I make you smile :-)
I always say "If people laugh at me... at least I made them laugh" =) <no you don't>
Hush, bird. I do sometimes. <mostly you mutter and whisper snide remarks to me>
Hah! Never!<yup>
I whisper snide remarks to *myself*! <ahhh. the dingy light dawns>
And I don't mutter <what was that? didtn't quite catch it>
Oh, go eat a snail. <don't mind if i do...>
You don't mind at all :-P <we're done here>
Yup.
<...of this and that>
Heheh..... you're quite a comedien around here I think.

But it's very unique too. Haven't seen it anywhere else I'm afraid.
It's like reading little roleplay stories that are amuisng.
Where do you get these little ideas from, if you don't mind me asking?

Hrm... Might your 2da issue be something
as simple as making sure word-wrap is not enabled so that everything
appears linear when viewing?
Thanks for that. It really helped me.

I went back over my 2das, looked at the options at the top of the 2da text pad, and found this word wrap option
comes from the drop down list called
"View" (for those of us with Windows XP)
Then I click
"Options" at the bottom, then the
"text Tab" (2nd one along) and the Word Wrap thing is on there.
I had my 2da's set to
"Wrap to window" for some strange reason.
This was obvoisly where it messed up all the lines in my 2da files.
So I chose the
"No Wrap" option, which resets the 2da back to its correct form again.
My 2da's are now more easier to navigate through. Thanks again.
I'm not actualy sure what a word wrap does.
Looks like it's something I definitely don't need here.
