               The vault is back and I just checked if any of the CCC haks finally made it into the hall of fame.
There's still not a single Custom Content Challenge in the hall of fame even though this is a project that keeps the community alive and has so much wonderful content.
If you haven't voted for some or all of the CCC haks yet, please do so. Especially those that can soon enter the hall of fame like 'pirates', 'ancient civilisations' and 'high priestess'.

I can't believe you haven't got a HoF yet. I wanted to help and vote for Monster Mash, but I forgot I already
voted last year. I hope someone else will help you get the last three votes.

Can you believe that the 'elven stuff' theme only got 5 votes?
Fewer people made content for this theme than for any of the other themes, but that still doesn't mean
that it isn't as good as the content for the other months' challenges.

Votes on the Vault are few and far between these days.  It's always been a very low percentage of voters vs. downloaders, but with the shrinking of the community, those votes come slower and slower.

I remember a time when something a lot of people seemed to like would jump to 25+ votes within a couple of months of it going up.  Now, I think it might take more like 1 to 3 years to get that many votes on a single submission that everyone seems to like (even mid and low votes are nice).  I  can't be sure on that though, since nothing I've posted in the last couple of years has gotten than many votes (of course, people could just be tired of me posting stuff).

Funny when I first started posting stuff on the vault I didn't expect to get any votes whatsoever and was therefore stunned when it started to happen. So now two and a half years (or so) since I first posted map mats I can only sigh and wish I'd posted it 5 years ago - I might have had 200+ downloads and a hof (yeah right - well I can dream can't I ()).

As to voting for the ccc, I have a slight problem in that there will be some I can't vote for (morally at least) because I am 1 of the contributors. So I will have to choose carefully - cest la vie.

               Yep, I'd say this old game still has plenty of life left, largely because of the community. Folks keep plugging away, creating new material, helping with problems, and celebrating successes.
