I've made an upload database also, but only for Neverwinter Nights 1:
It's not done yet, but upload and download should work without problems!
I will upload any kind of tools there! It's very dangerous that we will lose a lot of work, so please upload everything you have!

Be more helpful to help me process the vault data  - hop onto nwn2cr or friend / message me if you want to help. I have automated tools that can process the thousands of projects, but need a lot of processing power and bandwidth ( ie bodies willing to run my application ).

( we have the files all archived, but we need to get them migrated to the API I've built before they are usable by the community again, the module listing in Never Launcher is an example of this API )

If you can convert http://nwn.incursio.net into being a Vault Storage API server, I can get you a rsync of the complete vault which will be usable with the vault API itself. I already have many features of downloader accelerators and if I can get multiple mirrors, i can actually download one file from 5 servers at the same time, lowering both bandwidth to any one server, and also speeding it up for end users.

This will be hard be made. :S Because don't know how..
But I will have a look if it is possible!
Maybe we can upload the important Custom Content of the vault to incursio.net? Best rated and Hall of Fame (CEP, Q, ModernD20)!

This is already being done to the neverwintervault.org, all of it is safe and being migrated as we speak.

( and i am still able to move things from the vault, and have a lot of people processing now, uploading would take forever, we are dealing with a LOT of files so it has to be automated. )

If you download Never Launcher and browse the modules, i have all those files and just need to add the download button. I also have the rest of the vault in the same format.

Social-Incursio - we already have a website replacement for the vault. Why not get on board and work with us?

I have to agree with henesua as usual...'<img'> Better to focus on one site as to separate things that late.

Have the option to make mirrored downloads? Than we can save traffic! I've unlimited - this site too but If really many users will download same time, we will get in trouble. '<img'>

I know the download counts for cc on the vault a bit and it has decreased so much in the last 2 years that it hurts. I dont think that will be a problem. To make the files available is the priority imo.

Realistic you can release the uber nude sex mod for every game bundled in a nwn hak and upload it to a nwn related site and after one month you dont even have a 100 downloads i throw my hand in the fire for that. IT´s just that nwn is not cool today! '<img'>

               Unlimited storage sounds nice.

Please register on the vault, i can give you developer access. Also join nwn2cr irc channel to discuss. Both of us don't know a lot of what we are setting up, but by working together we can figure it out. ( along with the rest of the community )  This is a project which a simple system just won't be able to handle.

I have a Vault File Storage API, which allows mirroring, segmenting, swarming, etc. Basically it's a php script and apache configuration which makes your server work as a special file distribution point. ( you can customize this too, but want a common language and location for all files between mirrors )

The files are centrally on the Vault, but then we also have permission given to the vault for all these files. I am opening up access to that data, and letting others run mirrors.

I would need ssh access to your system ( create a new user with limited rights is a good idea )

I can then rsync from the central server to your server periodically, and vice versa.

If any server shuts down, the central hub ( which organizes things ) can just move on to the next one - with some effort to ensure we don't get in anyone beyond what they can handle distributing. This is all open data, so hoping other things pop up, such as tools to patch the game, browsers, even websites like yours.

They are all downloadable now via url. Mildly concerned about the ISP shutting down the 2 servers involved ( they are not supposed to be doing file sharing sites ) Want to get a current copy of the File storage API and data mirrored to more than one location and get that safe, so no one can shut us down.

The only piece missing is the connector to the Drupal website, and the connector to the Never Launcher. Modules will be in never launcher probably by the weekend. ( rest shortly thereafter )

The API is open, so others can work on making it accessible too in other ways. Just need an agreement to cooperate and to give the api.neverwintervault.org site authority on what is the current correct files. ( ie if any file is newer or more correct it needs to be shared all ways and not split things up )

Other option is getting lots of donations ... if we have a good budget we can do the cloud based storage, just hoping we can get offers to help from the community since i don't know any one in this community winning the lottery.

If I can get enough mirrors, it won't be a noticeable amount of traffic hitting any single server.

I should have a mirror up within the week. just need to transmit the vault to an old computer. getting a usb 2.0 card today or tomorrow to handle the transfer. tried uploading the vault via usb 1.0 and laughed at how slow that was. this computer is OLD but still has decent specs for a server.

I'll be in touch for specifics, pain.
