               Yes.  I don't know why.  Personally, I put it on "remember me", so I never have to sign in.

In fact, the Vault also requires you to sign in separately for the file area and for their own forums.

               That's weird, I never had to register or loggin in twice, and if I log in on the file area and then click on the forums, I remain logged...

When I was going to write this post, I noticed that I had been logged out for no reason... sometimes sites just troll you.

               There's a Monday Sep 17th status update on the vault from Maximus. Maybe we'll see it fixed soon?

               That's what Kamal was referring to:

Since the current Vault post is 'ummm, things are completely borked and we're going to have to do this by hand', let me say that doesn't bode well.

The update says " Getting this script working again is looking slim", so it doesn't seem so.

               True, but it also says there are some people reaching out to help in some way.  Maybe that means more assistants who can help with manual updates.

               Use Moddb where NWN has its own page.

Upload files quickly as downloads:

http://www.moddb.com...ights/downloads

Or upload them and create your own page for the mod:

http://www.moddb.com...ter-nights/mods

There's also the Neverwinter Nexus but that's already been linked too.

               I like the layout of that moddb a lot more, but it doesn't have any way to discriminate between even a module and a hak. That's a bit meager, isn't it?

               <looking very put out...>

The Vault's flakey? Is it more than just missing me? I mean, is it a technical problem or is it the lack of a moderator?

I'll be jumping back in there in the next couple days (assuming I still have access) and clearing up any backlog I can handle. Also the requests I see in my PM queue.

Sorry for the "vacation" :-P

               Rolo, apart from the message from last Monday that I quote below, there hadn't been any update for about a month.

Quote follows:

Sorry for the long lapse in news updates and file postings. Some of the internal scripts that power the site have stopped working, and I've been working to try to get them updated.

For more background, once a file is approved to be published, a script makes it public and publishes a news post with all the latest updates. Getting this script working again is looking slim, so I might just bypass it and make all files that are approved public, but that would make the front page require a manual news post.

A few people have reached out offering to help, so maybe that might be an option. I'll post again once there's a more concrete plan.

               <nods...>

Ahh. That helps. Thanks Tarot.
I'll climb back into that saddle this week and see how I can help.
