I'm not too concerned, as long as some people are enjoying them, and if a server uses them, that means plenty of people are using them technically!

I am glad you are getting some benefit out of them though! That's all that matters, as long as SOMEBODY is enjoying them.
And also everybody! I am starting to learn animations now, in the process of making something for the September CCC, so I hope I won't be in such a stagnant position later on, and I will be able to get those bowstrings done finally. Can't say when I'll get around to it, but at least I'm not as clueless as I was when I started!
