Awesome...  Q really nails the undead.  Everytime I see something like this I think how cool it would be as a palemaster summons.  I really dislike the way bioware handled those summons, btw, in that you have no control over what you get.

Awesome work! I always hated the bio zombies. If this was an override I'd add it in a heartbeat.

Okay, that's cool. I'm loving how its lower jaw is so big, its more like a shark than anything

Another suggestion is to add Draugr, namely viking undead. Because, well, can never have enough not-zombies

Its the limited color palette and the recycling of parts that helps a great deal. Not only does it tie everything together, but it makes creating new creatures a much quicker process.

As for the summons, its not something Q will change. We try to avoid altering core components of the game that have nothing to do with art resources. However, there are many resources available on the Vault that address the issue you are talking about - along with many other spell-related issues or tweaks. Or you could do like I do and just write your own version.

Draugr and other aptgangr don't necessarily look that much different than "normal" zombies though, at least not according to the sources I've read (various sagas mention them). Sometimes they are described as having a blue or black skin but that's about it and that could probably be achieved via the Q Lacedons.

Nice work on the ogre skeleton, it looks really menacing.

Well, yeah, but glowy blue eyes

Plus I read something that Draugr could grow giant to crush people, and, well, I think we know where this can lead

Zombie frost giants.

I vote for a zombie hill giant which is more common then a frost giant one.

With all of the NWN zombies being human (and usually male), I admit I had fun running into racial variants in DDO.  Seeing dwarves, elves, halfing, women, etc all able to be cursed with unlife made a necromancers lair just a bit more creepy.
