ATM the VFX laser mdl has self illum, ambient and diffuse all at max white (255,255,255 RGB), specular black (0,0,0 RGB).
Out of curiosity, does anyone know what effects specular lighting (?) tends to have on a model?
In general I tend to use white for ambient and diffuse, and black for self illum and specular...
