               ok well back to the folder i edited.I closed it last in notepad and it looked like a text document.I tried renameing it to "one.2da" but it still looks like a text document

               yes, it is a text document, just make sure it is  named baseitems.2da, do not rename it to anything else or it wont work...

               Do you have file extensions on, Anthony?

If so, make sure its .2da and not .txt. You may have just set up your file associations so they automatically open 2das with Notepad now

               im guessing file extensions are how you save your document.It does end in .2da i did that when renameing the file.

Ok so i have this done now what do i do with this file?

Make a new hak file (In the nwnhak in the Utils folder, in the NWN base folder) and import it in

Then stick the new hak on top of your loadlist, and see if it worked

               I went to nwhak and opened it and hit the file button that button has several folling options and one says to open so i hit that and i see all the haks but the file i just edited and saved the 2das in ends in .2da i edited the cep top file and threw in the new line of code and saved it as mynewhak.2da.

This leads to me not seeing anything but .hak folders,so should i still open it with it ending in 2da.I need like real specfic instructions on the buttons.im not even sure if  mynewhak.2da can be used as a file name or not

               No, not exactly '<img'>

Think of your 2da as a text file that lists a numericly indexed table of content properties, while your hak file is more like a zip file that neverwinter can access, if that makes it any easier to understand...

               Here are the 2das in a hak (hopefully works for you)

BAHak21.zip

Unzip, place in your hak folder, then add to module properties custom content, making sure it is the first in the list.

Be sure to provide it for download for any who will use your mod.

You will also need to incorperate the hak from ccc12_2010_module_hakv2.rar  after your top hak (or have your own hak include the tools and wounded body parts) ...

This will make sure players will see the content you added...

Another option is to place your 2das/content in the CEP_Custom hak, allowing people the option to play your server without the custom content support, but that has its drawbacks... (most specificly, players must keep track of different custom haks for all servers that use them, and you cant rely on the content being there...) Really only a good idea if you only use CEP and nothing else, and if your players only play your server exclucivly...

My advice for a PW is since you have a deacent list of content users must download anyway, I would avoid using the CEP_Custom.hak and just add your one more "top" hak to the list, the way most pws tend to do it.
