YES!!!  '>   Thank you all, for your help, but that was the issue, Lightfoot!  Additionally, it appears that the override is ignored in this case, which is odd.  But, as soon as I put it into my hak, Arcane Archer was selectable and performed normally at levelup.

Again, a big thank you for all your help, and following my saga so closely!
