Very impressive. These screens shots depict more of what I would imagine of an underdark setting with chasms and rock formations. The bioware cave tile set just seems like its got these huge wide open rooms with the occasional "platform" in the middle. Are those rock formations (stalagtites and mites) part of tiles are placeables using the ones that you had in your other Underdark placeables pack?

UA DM: I havent use any of the placeables in these shots. Just Pure tiles. The plc´s are developed side by side with this tileset to avoid unnecessary objects and I can focus on more "special" ones like the spider hive ones etc. But you will still be able to customize areas as you wish by the earlier shown and new formations:)

And if I work as fast as this weekend lol a usable set can be pakaged up very soon.

               Baba Yaga,

Excellant, a couple more quick questions... looking at the first pic you posted it looks like the pits are a "terrain" type and that one can place the pit tile up next to a wall tile so that you could use a "pit" or "chasm" tile to effectively block of movement rather than just have a pit sitting in the middle of a room? Also looking at the second set of pics you posted on page 1 (from toolset) it appears that there are two types of caves by "depth" or "height". One is the "regular cave" (for lack of a better expression) which looks like the standard bioware cave wall height and the other is a "great" or "large" cave which looks like a cavern which might be twice as "tall" as the "regular" caves? Something like the great cave in the spider cave tileset? Finally I think you mentioned something about raise/lower. Does that mean the "tunnels" or "passages" have elevation like the spider cave tileset?

Thanks

               Six,

You said it, heck I would be more than happy to help you by testing walk mesh just by running into walls and other things... 'Posted

UA DM: The chasms are a terrain and can be placed everywhere within the cave. It has a natural bridge crossers similar to the bioware one (just different looking). And yep about the great caves. Very similar to the spider great caverns. The raise/lower works for cave terrain (which is not complete) and the natural crossers.

_Six: I will release a version very soon with a complete cave, grotto and pit functionality. Where you can be sure nothing will be broken by the next update;)

               Baba Yaga,

I didn't even think about a natrual bridge crosser!  I was to busy gawking at the pics of the pit '<img'>.  Can't wait to see your work in game.  Will post more thoughts when its out or you post more pics.  I really enjoy your work!

This is the chasm/cave terrain variation... you dont actually need a "bridge crosser" to create gigantic bridge formations or just realy ruff, sharp edged underdark areas. Wip!!!
