we have fish.. maybe ones that jump out of the water to indicate a fishing spot?
There's already a birdcage model, maybe a variant with birds inside?
I really like the jumping fish to mark the spot idea :-)
And the canary to test for gas isn't bad, either
@ Carcerian: I like the tileset ;-) I'm an amateur beekeeper (without bees for the time) though I prefer the more natural Warre hives. If you are thinking of doing a tile/placeable of the outside/entrance, I would refer you to:

The layered structure of hives is the salient point.
@ Klatchain: Yes. We need honey bees to compliment the CODI & Project Q wasps (which actually look like hornets, to me :-P)
@ Shemsu: I like both those ideas :-) That wereshark is wicked!
@ ShadoOow: It is my hope to later expand the giant dragonfly to a mount for pixies :-) Partly because I love Rubies but mostly because both the feral pixie tribes (mounted archers) and the beetle-armored pixie knights have a place on Amethyst. Size is *not* an indication of threat!
And I agree, those pack-badgers are great ;-)
There are a few fox models, but, as Hekaton pointed out, there are in serious need of re-modeling. As my business is named Foxhaven Designs you might guess I am very interested in this.
@ ShadowM: Cestus is (I am) working on the Sapphire & Rubie, er Ruby giant dragonflies. I am currently concentrating on the wings, as I have a special and (I hope) spectacular conception of using the gem textures with .txi to make the dragonflies appropriate for figurines of power. (item models would come later). I was planning on modifying the Project Q Wasp to for the rest of it, as the animations are mostly in the ball-park, though I had to scale it up considerably.
I'd love it if you want to collaborate on this, though. You concentrate on the body & adjusting anims and do the body tex and I do the wings? The wings are 120cm x 30cm giving a wingspan of around 2.5 meters. Sound like something you want to do?
@ Carcerian: Ever heard of the
Spike Jones Laughing Record? It is said that no one, no matter how gloomy, can listen to them trying to play Flight of the Bumblebee without cracking a smile. :-)
Loving all this goodness, guys :-)
