Im guessing the answer is no but can I play CEP 2.3 mods with 2.4? Solved

               (The question comes at the third paragraph lol)
I am very excited '> After my old computer died, I had to use my mums laptop. Unfortunately for me, the game did not like her graphics card. Now after many months of not having neverwinter nights, I have gotten a new laptop! (Not good enough to play Skyrim, but all I wanted to put on it was this game '>)

Too top it off, I got Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition. Up until a few days ago, I'd never played the expansions, (ive now completed first chapter of SOU). I am very super excited to be able to now download all the hakpaks and CEP ive really so desperately wanted for my module, but unfortunately they required the expansions. Now that I have them, I will be starting a new project (Eragon I feel just didn't work out)

But I am curious, Im downloading CEP right now, I'm assuming its like a hakpak? It seems unlikely, but can I play CEP 2.3 modules? I'm downloading CEP 2.4... will I have to download both CEPS? |

Oh and, this is my third account, since I last my first when bioware got hacked or something, my second I just forgot its details.

               AFAIK CEP is backwards compatible so you should be able to play modules created with older version if you have 2.4 installed. I even remember a post on old CEP forum explaining how to convert CEP 1 modules and play them with CEP 2.

               You can play any module from version 2.0 up with the latest release of the CEP. All the necessary files are there. However, for CEP modules with versions lower than that, you will need to download the CEP 1 haks, which are also featured in the CEP Download page.
