By the way.. Bryce is not actually as useless as most people think. It is a lot of fun to use its filters on terrain meshes. Back when I used Unity to make games (feels like a million years ago now) I used Bryce to quickly create rock formations in a desert scene I was constructing. All of the rock formations in this image were made in a couple hours from conception to seeing them in game. Using Bryce I generated a few crazy terrain meshes. After I had one I liked I exported it to a real modeller and sliced it up into separate meshes, one for each outcropping, later applying a tiling texture. After that I just dragged and drop into Unity and an area of rolling dunes was turned into this cartoony painted desert.
This scene was the first thing I ever built for a game. Took me forever, after dropping these outcroppings in it took me two weeks to figure out light maps and apply shadows. I wish I had a screen shot with the sky I created in bryce too, but all that stuff is buried in an archive somewhere. The sky made the scene look even more Seussy! Anyway... ancient history. I'm not as into making game art anymore because it takes too long to achieve attractive results AND produce the actual game play which is the most interesting part. Plus people like Six, Zwerkules, Bannor, OTR, and all you others are so much better than me, I'd rather team up than pretend I am an artist. Coding I think is a better place for me. Nevertheless... despite all the reminiscence, the take away message is that Bryce can be very useful if you think outside the (sky) box. It is much more than just a sky box exporter. The terrain tools open up so many possibilities for very fast terrain generation.

Found an old playable scene file with the sky and posted it.You'll need the unity plugin. If you don't want to install a plugin do not follow the link. And yeah yeah, I know there are problems with that test. I just don't know what happened to my final version of the painted desert. Its probably gone.
