The internal Bioware compiler locks up at somewhere upwards of 10k+ (could be as high as 20k+) per mesh
node on the model. Overall, there is no limit. I've been regularly mucking with a ~200k mesh, works just fine.
Now the game crashes after I dismount from the Griffon. I know its in the Head model, because I have sub'ed in another head on the same model and the game ran fine.
Are there shadows on the high detail mesh? If there are, untick Shadow on Aurora TriMesh and try again. Could possibly be because it's not compiled in advance, though less likely. Compiler kit
here. Two diff. compilers as well as CleanModels in there.
