Can't you achieve post-process bumpmaps if you set up the textures to work with Peachy Keen's add ons? Like NW Shader and the newer Voodoo project?

               <dropping breadcrumbs...>

While I'm watching the Voodoo project <a bit idly>, I know nothing about how to take advantage of it.

Someone at Q might have that knowledge, and Chico of NWNCQ definitely does. But the best place to go is Peachy Keen. She certainly knows. '<img'>

Oh! You darling!'<img'>

I'm so happy with that, I wont even ask for the shinobi-zue '<img'>
Not sure exactly how I'm doing it, for one ':?'

The Keen Birdman Tessen first, then we'll see '<img'>

@ Spirited Sister: Very pretty, but do any of them have shiny-bright blades hidden in the handle? '<img'>
If not, I'll pass... too girly.

Now, can someone point me at the thread that mentioned off-hand weapons acting like shields? I'd really like to get some Shield AC out of these tessen...

Vibrant... you can adjust an item in the toolset to give an AC bonus. I once gave Bards a steel drum weapon that could also be used as a shield. Worked well - except for the fact that it had ribbons and looked like a tambourine.

Thank you every, I only wish I could expand to models. Maybe some day '<img'>

Vibrant, post up the image of a Shinobi-Zue and i'll get it done, home sick from work because my son decided to share his bug and I rolled light on my save.

But is it a shield AC? ':?'
I want something that stacks, not another deflection or dodge bonus...
I don't know. I've never made weapons before.

One of the points of the tessen and shinobi-zue is they do not look like weapons. In fact, I intend to blueprint them with a variable NotWeapon that I hope builder's will check (city guards and such). So your tambourine would suit.

@ Master Bird: The shinobi-zue is a staff with concealed blades (usually just one).

Mine will break apart into two ninjato blades (offest, each blade sheaths in the opposite pommel). So it will be a wooden staff with two silk-wrapped grips and a split brass boss in the center and brass tips. The pommel above would be lengthened and the blade shortened (blade will be 90% length of pommel). Does that make sense?''

The idea is to give it a unique power that when used (and equipped and have exotic feat) auto-magically replaces (and equips!) one staff weapon with dual-wielding ninjato. They, in turn will have the unique power to transform back into staff weapon.

So I can't really tell you what it looks like until I make it '<img'>
And that comes after the tessen.''

I can only lead you to the water. You are the one that should check if it is drinkable.

Well, this one was fun and a challenge and I hope it is something close to what you are looking for. Top image is the original image, second is the original sized revamp and the third is the icon for the "weapon". '<img'>

I like being fun and challenging!'<img'>

And it certainly is close! '<img'>

Here's my quick and dirty version of how close!'<img'>

'Posted
It's just that the staff splits in the middle... otherwise there's that middle chunk of wood that has to go somewhere when the blades come out...

Thank you Birdman. I'm happy '<img'>

Nightnight!
