               <getting in...>

Oh, you can just email them to me at nwncccmakers@gmail.com.
Actually, just give us permission to use your JE Death's Hand helmet and the dwarf can do the rest. He's far too lazy <and drinking far too much of the good stuff>
Right. Gotta give him *something* to do...

Unless you want to give it a go :-)

               'Tis allus rewardin' ta make somethin' yer own self, I allus say. Ye might start with tha head of c_ogre35... 'tis pretty close, 'cept fer colorin'. Mebbe scaled down a smidge, say to 90%.

Ignore tha old man, he's jest antsy. Ye make somethin' an' I'll use it.

Gettin' closer ta the concept pic:

               <rubbing his hands...>

If grumpy can get this working as an effect, it would be fantastic as an onEquip/Unequip effect for Gauntlet's of Ogre power, Belt of Fire Giant strength... etc

Edit: Or even a tail. That would work fine, since it's unlikely he'll make versions for creatures with tails. Every race/gender has to be individually adjusted (except half-elf) so the hands are in the right position.
Note: Made the oni_head the active head node. Quite eerie to have the spirit half watching you and following your movement while the meat half stares into the distance ;-) Might keep that, might not.

Edit 2: Since the dwarf has been exiled from the machine until Friday, here's a look at c_ogre35 (found in the 1.69 patch). It would make a good start on modeling an oni head, we think :-)

Needs horns, white hair, etc. I also think it's worthwhile to change the hair from skinmesh to dangly mesh.

               Cestus Dei your head is ready and i just have finished to sent it to Rolo Kipp, I hope it  will please you, you can see how it looks like in my album.
I have made also a dynamic version for Half-Orcs if you don't care...

I'm sorry but I have to say that I hope that this don't become in a custom. Because if i have to make models for everybody I'll be overloaded soon...

That's all

               That's looking really nice! Would prefer if we could have a version that doesn't need a 'person' attached to the spirit.. if possible? Having both options would be great.

*Maybe* I'll give him more time on it... *if* the dratted dwarf gives *me* time to wrap up Rogues >:-/

*sigh* But it's so hard for me to stifle creativity when it's in full flow.  Here's how she looks with Shemsu's head.

Texture issues, but no more screenies this week. Of the Oni. I mean it, Cestus!

               Despite not needing anything Oriental for my PW needs, I do have one specific model that I'd love to see.

Dragon Turtles come to us from Oriental mythology, and I DO have need for a Statue of a Dragon Turtle.. though I'd rather see it based off this mini..

So if anyone was still looking for something to make this month... :innocent:

               Rolo, forgive my ignorance but is your oni effect applicable to different models as a VFX or is it static for one model? It would be most amusing to be able to have the PC "possessed" and apply this VFX to them.

               Excuse me i have a doubt, I had made some models of Chinese musical instruments, but i don't Know were i can put them. i supposed that i should made a new kind of weapon for them, like CEP Fashion accessories, but I'm not sure how to do that.
Maybe it could be add then in a kind of similar objects that had been made for others CCC...
Thanks.

                I think the standard for musical instruments is to use a multipart item like Lisa did with her "holdables":

Currently, it is just for a single shape-changed oni. The purpose is to have the oni spawn as NPC (female human #8, in fact). Only through story (or with true-sight) is the guiding oni-spirit visible (to PC). Script-wise, I'll do an appearance swap. But the Oni will be considered human for weapon/FE purposes *unless* revealed.

In the long run, we are exploring options in both the "Possessed by demon" VFX (or tail) and "Item manifestation (i.e. Gauntlets of Ogre power, belt of Storm Giant strength)" VFX (or tail) direction, which actually has me drooling :-)

Problems: Anims on effect have to match gender/race, as (the important, and super-finicky, part) the hands *must* superimpose over the base model hands. Which means the anims on the effect must be the same name, order and number of frames as the *total* of all the anims in the supermodel-chain as the base model. Basically, we need to create a new "spirit" supermodel chain.

Also, the effect has to be linked to the base model through the impact node (VFX) or the tail/wing node( which block those spots and have the problem _six pointed out of being aligned to the pelvis. <you're rambling, old man>
Heh.

Ok, short form: Single special-purpose appearance for now. More later, if we can get it to work.

<...from a spiderweb of convo notes>

               I've only made two small buildings so far, so my desert city looks more like a deserted city atm:

               <grinning...>

Looking pretty good to me, Z :-)
Really impressed at how you *don't* show repeating patterns in all that sand. I *know* how hard that is.
